Dinner was over and Dean's nerves were on edge, he wanted to make his move on Seth but was still unsure if he should. They had built this awesome, easy friendship in such a short time and he didn't want to ruin it if things went sideways after he made his move. Then there was the whole Seth being his lawyer for shit's sake, there had to be some kind of problems with that. Right now he was waiting for Seth to finish cleaning up the kitchen so they could take Kevin and Blue for their nightly walk. A walk he had come to look forward to every night, especially if they ran into Seth's sweet elderly neighbours, Peggy and Robert. He liked running into them just to be able to live out his secret fantasies through their innocent assumption that him and Seth were dating. Of course, the first night he had met Peggy, both him and Seth had tried and failed to correct her, so they just stopped trying.

Seth soon finished and they left the house, it was a beautiful warm clear night and Dean was glad to be out of the house. As they walked, Dean took Kevin's leash, walking both dogs now, as Seth happily talked about his day at work. Dean listened to every word he said, a huge, stupid grin on his face as he enjoyed listening to Ian speak. He liked this, he liked Seth...he really liked Seth, he wasn't stupid, he knew he didn't love Seth. He cared for him, yes, lusted after him, hell yes, but not loved...at least not yet anyway, he could definitely see himself falling in love with Seth. He hoped that one day they would be together, happily in love, raising Kevin and Blue as a family. Damn, he was in deep, deeper than he thought, if he was imagining shit like that. As they walked home, Dean, still walking both dogs, purposely walked closer to Seth so that they were touching and to his surprise and happiness, Seth didn't move away or say anything. Finally, as they made it home, Dean smiled seeing Peggy and Robert sitting on their porch, enjoying their teas, he felt Seth sigh a little at the sight, and still smiling, he looked at a smiling Seth.

"Oh, Seth, dear, how are you and your sweet boyfriend, Dean?" Peggy greeted them happily.

"Evening, Mrs. and Mr. Carter, we're both good thank you." Seth greeted them back.

"Seth, son, you're still a fancy lawyer at the big law firm, aren't you?" Robert asked.

"I' am, sir." Seth replied smiling at him fondly.

"Good, I need some advice on a..."

"Oh, Robert, dear, leave him alone, he's far too busy to listen to your silly made-up problems about buying that car we looked at this morning." Peggy scolded her husband lovingly, cutting him off. "By the way, are you two busy tomorrow night? We'd love to have you both over for dinner."

"We'd love to, Peggy." Dean agreed smiling.

"Great, we'll see you tomorrow at six then, have a nice night, boys."

"Goodnight." Seth and Dean said together smiling before they went inside.

Once they were inside, Seth let Kevin and Blue off their leashes and they ran off to play, Dean followed Seth into the kitchen and leaned against the counter. He watched as Seth went to the fridge and grabbed two beers, Dean couldn't take his eyes off Seth as he bent over to grab the beers. He felt his body begin to react and he quickly closed his eyes and thought of cute fluffy bunnies to stop himself from doing something too soon. Opening his eyes, he saw Seth shutting the fridge so he spoke to get his mind off of Seth's body.

"I...I hope you don't mind that I accepted dinner?" Dean asked as Seth turned around smiling and handed him one of the beers.

"Nah, I was going to accept but wasn't sure if you wanted to." Seth answered as he stood beside him, so close their bodies were touching.

Dean could feel his body react again, damn, he felt like a freaking teenager again unable to control his damn body. He closed his eyes again and began mumbling under his breath as he pictured the bunnies again.
