Save a Savior
"I'm here for you always, sweetheart... Always."

Taking a harsh breath, Blue gripped onto her pager tightly in her hand, hoping profusely that Ethan would have gotten her message.
How could she have been so clueless, the hints had all been there in front of her the whole time...
She had been experiencing those weird gnawing inklings that someone was watching her only from the first time Edwin had been admitted and discharged from the team.
She remembered the way his demean our had changed when he found out she was married...
The way he looked at her right before the Christmas party to the point where even Ethan had noticed it...
He had even mentioned her name when she had confronted him a fortnight ago...
It was right there in front of her all this while, and she had casted a blind eye to it. She had no idea what his intention was, whether to hurt her or anything else, especially as he had mentioned that he had not want to, back at that dark nook. However, she knew that either ways, it could not be a good intention, and with each passing minute, her trepidation only grew.
Ding!
Blue shuddered slightly as the elevator dinged upon its arrival to the ninth floor, watching with bated breath as Edwin's stance almost relaxed.
"Is this the floor?" he asked for the sake of conversation, casting a glance back at Blue, completely oblivious to the change in her expression and demeanor.
"Yes, but..." she trailed in response, her hands shaking slightly as she lifted up her pager to make a show of looking down at it. "I'm being paged down to a patient, I'll have to drop you off here, Edwin."
She knew the way her voice faltered did not help sell her lie at all, but she had to at least try something.
"Your pager did not sound out though." Edwin pointed out. "And when you're on a diagnostic case, you don't get paged down to any other patient."
Blue stiffened at that, realizing as to how far an extent Edwin had been watching and observing her for weeks to know even her working patterns. His show of coming to Edenbrook often for therapy sessions with Dr. Argent was just an excuse for him to be watching her while she was at work.
"Edwin... I have to go down now."
Despite the growing panic in her, Blue kept her voice as levelled as possible. She watched as Edwin's expression hardened, a million thoughts clearly running in his head as he searched her face with his eyes, finally noticing the anxiety in her composure.
He stood still for a moment, releasing a long breath before another sigh.
He held his foot out against the edge of the elevator door.
"Please step out of the elevator, Dr. Hunter." he spoke, his voice devoid of the initial tenderness, though not too harsh.
"Edwin, I need to be downstairs." Blue replied again, painfully aware of the fact that Edwin probably knows that she is alert now and did not want to agitate him further. "If you could explore the garden on your own--"
"I'm telling you again, to please step out of the elevator, Dr. Hunter." he said, only this time harsher and firmer.
"No, I don't want to do that." Blue responded slowly, keeping defiance out of her tone so that she does not anger him. She has been enough dangerous situations by now, to know how to at least talk or react in these situations. First was the gunman she had faced in her first year, and even Travis, in her second year.
