An hour or so later, the trio got up and decided to check on their siblings once more before going back to sleep. The scream that welcomed them in the Healer's pavilion informed them that none of the tree was going have a minute of peaceful sleep tonight.

"Kill me! Just kill me, I beg you."

Wei Wuxian and Jin Zixian pleaded for death with tears that had soaked through their pillows now.

"I can't do this."

"What do you mean?"

"I can't. I can't leave them alone when they are in such a state. Severe emotional stress can make a person weak. What if they run a high fever and doesn't break on its own? If something happens to them tonight, I will never be able to forgive myself." She said as she stroked their faces.

"Alright, if you wish to stay then you can. But I will accompany you. After all, one of them is my sister and the other is my brother in law."

"Then I will stay here as well." Jiang Wanyin stated. "The two of you may be married, but that has yet to happen for everyone else. If you two stay in room for the night without a chaperone, there will definitely be a lot of rumors tomorrow."

No one objected to this. The trio spent some time preparing various things. Jiang Cheng and Jin Zixian brought back buckets of water from the well fed some water to their siblings. Jiang Yanli prepared some antipyretic medicine in the kitchen, as she could feel their temperature rising when she touched their foreheads earlier. She also prepared a set of silver needles should the need arise for her to forcefully wake them up. She sent a message to the Chief Healer of Lotus Pier that the Healing Pavilion will be occupied for the night and that the place will be out of bounds for everyone as the patients must not be disturbed. She informed her parents that she will be staying in the Healing pavilion for the night, accompanied by Jiang Cheng and Jin Zixuan.

"It's fine if A-Cheng stays with you. But Jin Zixuan staying there as well, I don't believe that to be proper. I can't allow that to happen." Yu Ziyuan voiced her objection.

"A-Li, you should go back to the Healing courtyard now. The three of you may stay there with A-Xian and Jin Guniang if you so wish." Jiang Fengmian said.

Yu Ziyuan wanted to stop Jiang Yanli, but was restricted by Jiang Fengmian to do so.

"San-Niang, A-Xian is A-Li and A-Cheng's brother. If them caring for him when he is sick is normal, then so is the case for the Jin siblings. You are worried about leaving our daughter in a room with another man. How can we expect Jin Zixuan to be alright with letting his sister who is unconscious right now, stay with a strong and awake man in the same room?"

"But A-Cheng will never do such a thing!"

"And you are certain Jin Zixuan will?"

Yu Ziyuan was taken aback by this question for a second. She hesitated before answering him.

"A-Mian, its not like you don't what Sect Leader Jin is like..."

"And its not like you don't know what Sect Lady Jin is like. Think about it, she nearly died giving birth to him. Will she let her only child be ruined in that manner?"

Yu Ziyuan had to admit that her husband was right. She couldn't deny it, but she still didn't feel comfortable with the proposed arrangement.

"San-Niang, I know that you are only looking out for our daughter. Frankly, I am not at ease with how things have turned out now as well." He comforted his wife, "But, I can understand the distress of Young Master Jin. I have seen how much his attitude has changed between today and his past visits. I also saw that he is actually quite close with Jin Zixian. And the last time we visited Jin Lin Tai, he scrunched his nose at the very mention of her name. He hated staying near A-Li as well. But during lunch today, the kids may have thought that I didn't see it, but I did see how Jin Zixian acted as a messenger between the young couple. He even stared at A-Li the way I look at you, its like we are looking at the very reason of our existence."
