Chapter 11: Terrifying Reunion

HOLLOW EARTH
KONG'S THRONE ROOM.

"NO! ABSOLUTELY NOT!" Kiryu yelled, curled up against the wall. Some of the Scientists began to snicker at him, earning a glare from the giant lizard.

"Kiryu, you have to! It's the only way, those two Titans have been the most destructive on the planet! If you take them both down now-"

"No! You can't make me! Tsuchigumo was scary enough when I first met her and now you're asking me to fight a Feral Rampaging Tsuchigumo AND an extremely angry turkey that lights fire to whatever he doesn't like?! You can go fuck yourself with that."

"Please Kiryu, you'll be saving so many people by doing this! You'll have as much military support with you as possible, I'll make sure of it." Nathan bargained, practically begging Kiryu to help.

"I-I... I still don't know... "

Kiryu considered his options for a moment, it was either he face Rodan and...Tsuchi or... Wow, he didn't have any other choice, did he?

It was either this or nothing. Those two were the closest Titans to the Hollow Earth entrance, meaning after it was over, it would be easier to transport. This truly was the better option, but that didn't mean Kiryu had to like it.

Tsuchi was already scary enough on her own, Feral Tsuchi might actually just be a Psychopath. Even if Rodan was more skilled than the two of them, Kiryu had to admit he was still way more scared of the spider than the bird.

Kiryu sighed before giving Nathan a deadpan stare.
"Okay, I'll do it. But you owe me for this one!"

"YES! thank you, Kiryu! You have no idea how much this will help."

Kiryu smirked slightly, before returning to a sad frown. He was dreading this.

It's not that he hated Tsuchi, she was one of the first Titans to think of him not as an object, but as another Titan, he was thankful for that, But... she was already so forward in her advances toward him. Meteor X is gonna make them much worse.

"Well, do you have a plan? Or am I just gonna have to think of something?" Kiryu said with a scowl, bringing Nathan's attention back to him.

"Oh! Right, well the battle is in Isla de Mara, and reports indicate that there have already been a massive amount of civilian casualties. Air support will be available for this fight, but it'll be up to you to knock the Titans unconscious."

"And how am I supposed to get there without running out of fuel? Oh yeah, just slap some helicopters to my back and send me out!" Kiryu said sarcastically.

"Wait... Yes! You're a genius Kiryu! That is exactly what we're gonna do. I'll see you outside!"

...

"Wait what?" Kiryu

As Nathan walked out, Kiryu closed his eyes...

"What have I just done?..."

1 hour later...

The rain beat down on Kiryu's face as he waited for Nathan to come back with the supposed aircraft.

He couldn't help but think about the fight ahead of him. Or rather... who he'd have to face.

*Rodan, King of the Sky. He's Able to destroy an entire city just with his wings alone. A decent Kaiju to hang around with too, I think anyways... Although, Now that I think about it, I haven't spent much time with Rodan to actually get to know him.*

*Tsuchigumo, the first Titan to acknowledge me as something more than a machine. Her acidic webbing can melt away my Nanometal, it's part of the reason that scar on my face hasn't disappeared yet... I'll have to be careful with both, either way, I don't want to seriously hurt them.*
