HOLLOW EARTH

"Kiryu, What do you mean by that? Kiryu, come in!" The operator yelled over and over again, just to be met by static.

"What's going on over there? Is MFS- I mean Kiryu okay?" Nathan yelled, coming out of a communication tent.

"He's not responding! Every time I try to talk to him there's just static!"

"What?! Damn it! Try to send air support up there, we cannot lose him! He is our only hope of actually living through this crisis!"

"Sending in Air support now..."

Nathan put his head in his hands, he was not expecting to have all of these expectations put on him. He's a researcher, not a general.

"What's going on?" Illene suddenly asked.

"Woah!"

...

"Sorry, you scared me... Kiryu won't respond. We're trying to contact him but everything just comes up blank."

"SIR!"

"What!? Can't you see I'm talking to someone?" Nathan yelled.

"It's about Kiryu!"

Nathan's eyes snapped wide open as he ran towards the officer in question.

"What's up? Is he okay!?"

The officer simply showed a camera feed of a drone in the air high above the battlegrounds. There was devastation, but no Kiryu or Behemoth.
"Kiryu has gone AWOL sir. There's no visible trace of him above ground."

"What do you mean?! He has to be somewhere-"

BOOM

"Gah! Damn it, shouldn't have jumped down. That really hurt..."

And speaking of the devil, out of the gigantic hole that lay in the ground, came Kiryu. Carrying an Unconscious Behemoth on his back, Kiryu placed him down slowly on the floor, Kong roared at the new face, but Kiryu signalled to him that everything was fine.

"Who is that?" Kong signalled angrily.

"This is Behemoth, The meteor above has too big of a radius above ground for me to put him anywhere else... Sorry. I know you don't enjoy visitors, but I didn't exactly have a choice."

Kong simply gritted his teeth and walked away, Axe in hand.

"I think I made him mad... Oh well." Kiryu said with a shrug.

Nathan scrambled back into the tent, grabbing the Megaphone he had earlier.

"KIRYU! You're okay!" He yelled through the mic, gaining his attention.

"Yup. And I brought home a friend, don't why but... he kinda looks familiar." Kiryu said curiously.

"Speaking of which... Why didn't you tell us what you were doing?! You went completely silent!"

"I'm sorry! I just didn't think it would be worth the risk of worrying you about me bringing an Unconscious Titan down here!"

"Well, Whatever. I'll get someone to set up a small-scale Shatterdome somewhere, we can't send it back up, otherwise, the Meteor's effects will take hold again."

"I guess I'll just...uhhh-"

"Just place him outside, We'll have you bring him to the Shatterdome once it's been set up." Nathan said while placing the Megaphone on the desk beside him.
