It had been two full days since Godzilla and Kiryu fought, and Monarch had been on the hunt for both titans since, however, nothing came of the search, and a few of the generals had begun to get antsy despite many assistance vain efforts to calm them down.

In the middle of Kong's sanctum, sat the ape himself. The ruckus from before had finally been quelled, and since Meteor X had since disappeared from the Earth's sky, the titans that once lived in the shatter-domes had returned to the surface. At least that was what Jia had told him.

However, he wasn't stupid, he could tell that Lizard had made his down into his Kingdom, had he not been unconscious, A fight would've surely broken out. He and Godzilla weren't at odds with each other any longer, but that didn't necessarily mean he had to like the reptile.

He couldn't deny how much better it was to have such a sacred place to himself once more, most of those down in the Shatterdomes didn't exactly behave themselves, so it was nice to finally have some peace and quiet in the domain of his people, for however long it may last.

However, there was one thing that bothered him. Kiryu's whereabouts.

He was well aware that Kiryu was afraid of the humans, so hiding away from them was a good strategy, but he at least expected to find some sort of clue. For all he knew, Kiryu was dead. After all, when the Titans went back above ground, Kong could see them from a distance, The spider in particular looked as if she had been killed, showing a blank face with no emotion, and yet tears streaming down her face.

The more he thought of it, the more Kiryu's demise became more plausible.

Shaking his head, Kong yawned. His eyes slowly came to a close...

"I said to keep looking!" The general yelled at one of the drone operators, echoing down the halls.

"Sir, I-I'm sorry but most of our Drones have been destroyed! If we send out any more then it'll be a whole 3 days before we get a resupply!"

"I told you to keep a crate of them in reserve, you dolt! God, do I have to do everything around here myself?" He said with fury and a red face, However, as the general was about to continue, the door opened.

"Oh, who is it now- U-Upsilon!" 

"Evening, General." He said softly while placing his coat on the hanger.

"I wasn't expecting you for another hour yet, since you decided to take a nice trip to Italy of all places. Mind explaining?"

"I..."

Upsilon debated on telling him, after all, they were great friends. However, he decided against it. Zeta often talked about how powerful Nanometal is, and how it can make anything possible with the right science, And judging by what he found in that lab, he'd be a fool not to believe it.

That kind of power shouldn't be known to anyone who can't handle it, and who knew what would happen if he decided to reveal that his tutor created literal life?

"I had... something I needed to uncover for myself. It does not matter, what is the situation as of right now?"

"Rggh... Well, Godzilla decided he wanted to attack the Philippines, our forces got wiped out, and then MFS-3 showed up and they started fighting."

"And I'm assuming by what you were yelling about, MFS-3 disappeared?"

"Right on the money, Hollow Earth is too dangerous for traditional drones to fly through, and SOMEONE didn't keep any reserves. So, until new shipments from HQ come in, we have to be careful."
