"Ah! Mother..." Kiryu yelled, before yawning heavily.

"Fucking alarm..." He muttered as he dismissed it, giving him time to think. The entire room was pitch black, Kiryu looked at his internal clock, it was midnight.

"Echo! I told you to wake me up at morning! Not midnight!" He whispered, trying to not wake up the humans in the facilities around him.

"It is morning, Sir. It is currently 00:00, which indicates the start of a new day."

...

"You know what, I'm just gonna nod my head and agree to whatever you just said." Kiryu said while slowly standing up.

"May I ask why you wanted to activate at such a late time, Sir?"

"...I have to check on something, without Monarch knowing. You can keep a secret, right Echo?"

"Of course, Sir. I was designed to speak only to you unless authorised."

Kiryu looked around to make sure no one else was listening.

"Okay well, There was this Egg on Infant Island, It was Mothra's but... I think she has a baby, I need to check on Anguirus and the Egg to make sure nothing has gone wrong, if something has happened to it... God help us all."

"This egg you mentioned... Is it close to hatching, Sir?"

"I think so, judging by the incubation process I think it'll hatch in a week's time. We'll need to fix this situation with Meteor X before that, but I need to confirm its safety before I try something else involving the Meteor."

"I suppose since you only came into existence approximately three months and twenty-seven days ago, that would make you and this egg the same age, recent scans from your memory banks also indicate the specimen is male. Interesting."

"...I guess, how is that relevant?"

"...I will recount the details at a later time, we must make haste."

The room was pitch black and everyone was asleep.
*Perfect time to sneak out I guess, they'll probably be freaking out about where I am by the time I make it to Infant Island... Should I leave a note?...*

Kiryu thought for a couple of seconds before shaking his head, Godzilla seemed very protective of the egg, it wouldn't be right for him to just spill its location in a note.

Regardless, Kiryu walked as slowly as he possibly could towards the hole, before jumping down.

"I'm just gonna go and do a quick check-up on Anguirus and Mothra's egg. That's all... Hopefully." Kiryu muttered to himself, picking up his voice a bit as he got further away from the base.

"What more do you know about this egg, Sir?"

"...Why are you so interested in the egg now?"

"This is the first recorded time in my database that Mothra has laid an egg for another purpose other than reincarnation. There's also the fact that it is male, which is a first for Mothra's species as far as we know. I suppose you could say... I'm curious."

"... Alright, I guess it's fine to say. Well, I didn't learn much before Godzilla threw me out into the mud. However, I did learn that the egg can become unstable and Mothra would have to soothe it herself with a lullaby, she called it a form of incubation." Kiryu explained, drawing his Maser Blade from his wrist as he neared the Surface.
