Stars (A Sollux x Reader) //Completed!

Chapter 10

You stretched and yawned as the movie came to an end. Thankful it was over, you stood up and continued to stretch some more. Karkat stands up and moves back over to the shelf of movies. Wait, is he going to get another one to watch? Terezi sees him and practically tackles him, knocking him over before he can reach the shelf full of movies, "NO, NO MOREEEEE!!"
"GOG DAMNIT TEREZI GET OFF ME.", Karkat struggles and tries to push her off of him.
"All right love birds, let's move on to doin' somethin' else. I've had enough of these movies.", Eridan says, swishing his cape. Karkat blushes a bright red at this comment and Terezi just laughs. You start to laugh too, as does everyone else in the room.
"So Karkat, do you have any board games?", you ask him. Karkat finally gets free of Terezi's grip and stands up and dusts himself off, "I HAVE FEW I THINK," he walks over to a closet and looks up on the top shelf of it. Karkat gets up on his tip-toes and tries to reach the shelf. You stifle a laugh, and walk over to help him. Reaching up, you can just barely reach the bottom of the shelf. "Damn, I can't reach it.", you get up on your tip-toes as well and jump up and down trying to reach the board game boxes. But alas, you are not talk enough. You see a shadow loom over you from behind. Turning around you see Gamzee. Gamzee makes his way through and with ease, grabs the boxes off of the shelf, and hands them to you. "Thanks Gam!", you take the board games and go sit in front of the TV. Karkat and Gamzee follow, sitting down on the floor next to you. "Up for a game of Monopoly anyone?", you look around. Terezi and Eridan come to join you on the floor. Aradia and Tavros are sitting on the couch talking to each other. When you look over at Sollux, he glares back, clearly still upset about the whole horn incident. Fine, be that way you little grump. You look away and begin to explain the rules of monopoly to the other trolls.

--After Monopoly--

The game lasted over an hour. Terezi had emerged victorious, and wouldn't stop bragging about it to Karkat. Aradia and Tavros ended up passing out on the couch due to boredom. It was about 10:00 at night already. Sollux appeared as wide awake as ever, on his phone doing something in a dark corner. "Karkat it's getting late, I think I should go home. If I'm not there my mom will wonder where I am.", you say, looking over at Karkat.
"YEAH YOU'RE RIGHT, IT IS GETTING A LITTLE LATE. YOU ALL SHOULD LEAVE SOON."
"Well I'm just going to go now if that's okay.", you get up and gather your stuff. You walk around to the other trolls and give them all hugs goodbye for now. Except for Sollux, you left him alone in his little corner. You'll just walk home alone without him. Walking out of the room, you get stopped by Eridan, "(name)! Do you not have anyone to walk home with?"
"No, why?"
"Well it's dark out and it's not safe for a girl as pretty as you to be roamin' the streets alone at night when it's this dark out.", Eridan looks around nervously, trying to avoid awkward eye contact, "what I'm tryin' to say is, would you like me to walk you home?"
"Um, sure! Let's get going.", you continue your path out the door and the trolls in the other room yell a final goodbye.

--walking home--

It's eerily quiet. No conversation has been started and you are already about halfway home to your house. After a couple more minutes of awkward silence, Eridan speaks up, "So uh, (name). Uh, I know Sol can be kind of grouchy, and a grump, and he says things that he sometimes doesn't notice that can really hurt... But if he ever says or does anythin' to upset you or make you mad, just come and tell me and I'll teach him a lesson, okay?"
You smile at this, "Thank you Eridan, I'll be sure to come to you first when ever he upsets me." It goes quiet again as you walk up the steps of your house to your front door. "Hey Eridan, before you go, I'll give you my phone number so we can keep in touch okay?", you run inside really quick and grab a sticky note, scribbling down your phone number onto the tiny yellow paper. You run back outside and hand it to Eridan, "Maybe we can meet up some time again soon, okay?"
"Okay, it's a deal. See you soon (name).", he begins to walk back down the street, swishing his cape and scarf as he walks. "What a dork.", you say to yourself. You walk inside, closing and locking the door behind you, and you then collapse on the couch. After a couple of minutes of trying to fight sleep, your eyelids grow droopy, and you pass out.
