Chapter 13

You arrived at the amusement park and Cronus took FOREVER to find a nice parking spot. Finally he gave up and just parked all the way in the back, making you walk all the way up to the park. You went through the ticket gate with the ticket Eridan gave you and waited on the other side inside the park and waited for everyone else. When everyone came in, the gates suddenly flooded with people. Your group decided it would be better to get ahead of everyone else coming in just now and to go and find a ride.

"So what do want to ride first?", Eridan looks over at you while walking. Cronus and Feferi were keeping pace with you, walking behind you.

"Uh, anything is cool with me I guess"

"Oh really? Anythin'?"

"Okay well, when you say it like that it makes me nervous. No scary rides okay?" Eridan groans at your response, "Fffiiiiinnnneee."

You continue walking around the park and ride several rides. After that you start to get hungry and Cronus decides that it's time to grab something to eat. You walk up to a food stand with Cronus, he and turns to look at you and says, "Alright kitten, what do ya want?"

"I'll just take a hot dog I guess.", jeez, why does he keep calling you Kitten? I mean it's not like you mind or anything...

"Alright, one hot dog please.", Cronus turns around to face Eridan and Feferi, "What about you two?"

"I would like a hamburger.", Eridan says plainly.

"Me too!", Feferi chimes in.

"Okay, two hamburgers please.", Cronus then pays the man in the stand, and hands you your hot dog and the hamburgers to Feferi and Eridan. You walk over to a shaded table with an umbrella over it and sit down. The rest of them follow and sit down next to you. You sit there in silence for a while, enjoying your food until suddenly a voice yells at you from behind, "HEY, I DIDN'T KNOW YOU WERE HERE (NAME)" this causes you to jump and almost spit out your food. You swallow and then turn around to look at the small but angry little troll with nubby horns, Karkat.

"What the fuck Karkat, why are you here? And you scared the shit out of me! Why are you always yelling?!"

"DO YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH ME ALWAYS YELLING?"

"Yes because everyone around here is now looking at us, idiot!", you roll your eyes in irritation. As you open your mouth to say something else to Karkat, you see Sollux walking up behind him, carrying two hotdogs. Great, Karkat was a surprise, but you sure did not want to see Sollux. You were quite fed up with him. But back in the coffee shop, he was probably trying to apologize to you... You get a sinking feeling in your stomach, and you start to regret pouring your coffee on him. He notices you and frowns, he doesn't say anything and just stands behind Karkat and waits for him to finish messing with you. Karkat quickly spins around to face Sollux and asks, "SO WHY IS YOUR MOIRAIL OUT WITH FISHDICK AND FRIENDS EXACTLY?" Sollux shifts around uncomfortably and shrugs, "I think she's still mad at me. I tried to apologize to her, but all I got was a splash of coffee all over my head." Karkat starts to laugh at this. You feel pretty bad now. Sollux looks at you and you look back at him, "Sorry.. I should of listened to what you had to say before splashing coffee all over your face...", you say quietly. Sollux says nothing in return, he hands Karkat the hotdogs and sits next to you on the bench next to the table you have your food on. "I should be the one who says sorry, I shouldn't of snapped at you. So, I'm sorry (name).", Sollux then wraps his arms around you and gives you a hug, pulling you closer to him. You happily return the hug, you're happy you got all of this sorted out. You didn't want to stay mad at him forever, he was your Moirail, and you haven't talked to him in weeks. You can't help but feel bad. So now is the time to make up for all of the shit you put him through by having a good time with him at the amusement park.

"I'm sorry too... are we still Moirails?"

"Of course, stupid", he lets go of you and pokes you in the side causing you to jump. Of course, here come the playful insults again. But you're happy regardless, being able to hear his lispy voice again made you happy.

"Alright you two, let's get to ridin' some more rides before it gets too dark. Kar, are you going to join us?", Eridan looks at Karkat questioningly. Karkat might have to wether he likes it or not, because you're taking Sollux with you no matter what. Karkat lets out an angry sigh, "FINE, I GUESS I'LL GO WITH YOU GUYS." As you begin to walk, Karkat and Sollux each eat one of the hotdogs Sollux had carried over before. As the sky grows darker, the group goes around and rides various different rides, until it gets dark and the amusement park begins to close. Cronus offers you a ride home, but you have Karkat take your place instead and you ask Sollux to walk you home. Today was a little crazy, but you're glad it happened like it did.
