Stars (A Sollux x Reader) //Completed!

Chapter 21

You and Sollux arrived at Nepeta's party after everyone else had gotten there already. There were quite a few trolls and some humans you did not recognize. But you guessed that as the party went on, you would learn more about them. Not knowing what to do, you follow Sollux around for a while. You end up getting distracted while you walk and you bump into a unfamiliar troll,"Hey! Watch where you're going!"
"Oh, sorry. I uh, wasn't paying attention, I kind of zoned out there for a second.", the troll turns around to face you, she has long, black hair that sticks up everywhere. She has glasses on, and her horns are both strangely shaped. She grunts and shrugs, "Ugh, it's fine." She then turns around and goes back to talking to Terezi. Aw shit, you lost Sol. Not sure where else to go, you find your way over to the closest wall, and stand there for a bit. You look around to see if you can spot any of your friends that aren't currently busy. Ahah! There's Karkat, he doesn't seem to be busy at the moment, so you head over to him. "Hey Karkat, what's up?"
"THE SKY, LAST TIME I CHECKED."
"... Thanks Captain Obvious, I never knew."
"YOU'RE WELCOME. SO WHAT BRINGS YOU HERE? DO YOU KNOW NEPETA?"
"No, actually. Sollux invited me to come with him. But I ended up losing track of him and I don't know where he went."
"HE'S PROBABLY ON HIS PHONE IN A CORNER SOMEWHERE. HE SHOWS UP TO PARTIES EVERY NOW AND THEN, AND WHEN HE DOES, HES ALWAYS ON HIS PHONE."
"Typical. So, can you tell me about Nepeta? Is she nice?"
"FUCKING DAMNIT, I DON'T THINK I'LL NEED TO DO MUCH EXPLAINING, HERE SHE COMES."
You look around, but see no one approaching. Until suddenly, an olive green blur leaps out at Karkat and tackles him to the ground.
"Karkitty!"
Karkitty?
"It's so nice to see mew again!"
"NEPETA GET OFF OF ME."
"Aw okay...", she rolls off of Karkat and dusts off her olive green coat. She has horns in the shape of cat ears, and a cute blue hat that also resembled a cat. She helps Karkat to his feet,"Oh, and who is this?", she looks over at you.
"H-hi, I'm Sollux's Moirail. I hope you don't mind, he invited me along and I though it would be fun."
"I'm glad mew came! I'm always open to making new furiends! I'm Nepeta, what's your name?", she holds out her hand for a handshake.
"I'm (name), nice to meet you Nepeta.", you smile and shake her hand.
"Just so mew know, the food is over there and so are the drinks.", Nepeta points in the direction of a long white table, cluttered with food and drinks,"We have plenty of stuff, so eat all mew want!"
"Oh, okay. And Nepeta, do you by any chance know where Sollux is?"
"Yes! I saw him over in that corner over there. He purrobably hasn't moved."
"Alright, thank you. I'll leave you and Karkat to talk. Bye for now!"
"They would make such a cute couple.", Nepeta leans over and whispers to Karkat.

You head in the direction of the corner Nepeta pointed to, and you find Sollux sitting on the floor, staring down at his phone screen. You sigh, and go and sit down next to him. "So, is this all you ever do?", your voice suddenly snaps him back into reality, and he turns to face you. "Oh, sup (name)?"
"Oh nothing much, just sitting."
"Lame."
"Pfft, well you're the one on your phone while you're a party."
"I don't like talking to people."
"Then why do you talk to me?"
"Because... I don't know, you're different."
"Different how??"
"I like talking to you."
"...It isn't like you to give compliments, are you sick."
"I'm not sick, I'm being serious you shit.", He goes back to messing around on his phone.
"Jfc, okay okay. I'm sorry.", you laugh a little. Well, I guess that's the end of that conversation. After he said he liked talking to you and everything. Wow, maybe you pissed him off. Suddenly, Nepeta starts running around wildly, carrying a stick with something attached to the end. Oh no, is that mistletoe? You're not sure what you should do. You scoot away from Sollux and anyone else near, to make sure you're safe. Nepeta travels around the room, you watch her flutter about happily as she puts the Mistletoe over her favorite OTPs. She tries to get Karkat to stand under the mistletoe with her, but Karkat ended up running away and locking himself in the bathroom. Nepeta was starting to run out of victims, then she spots you and grins. You just knew by the look that she had on her face that she had something evil planned. She bounds toward you. Shit. Before you can do anything, she grabs you by the arm and starts to pull you in Sollux's direction. You tried to pull back, but she was surprisingly strong. She playfully pushed you down next to Sollux, who is still completely unaware of the situation, and still playing on his phone. Nepeta holds the mistletoe over both of your heads, but Sollux still doesn't respond, he was playing some sort of game on his phone and not paying attention. Nepeta growls softly. She smacks his phone out of his hands.
"NEP WHAT THE FUCK", he looks at Nepeta angrily. Nepeta had a goofy grin on her face. Your face turns bright red as you realize what's about to occur. Sollux finally notices the Mistletoe, and he blushes a slight mustard yellow. Nepeta was practically vibrating, she was bouncing up and down so fast. Sollux groans, and before you knew it, he had planted a kiss on your lips. You sat there, embarrassed and astonished as Nepeta squealed with joy. Sollux wasted no time and quickly got back to playing that game on his phone. Your mind was screaming. You could not comprehend. Your heart was beating so fast and your face was still red, "holy fucking shit he actually fucking kissed me holy fuckING FUC K", you thought to yourself and continued to scream internally.

Blaaaaah, I completely forgot to update again like I said I was. Sorry this is late, but I did it! I hope this is good enough for now ;') it's late and I wrote this in a hurry (as always). I'm going to get some sleep. I hope you had a nice Christmas/holiday/day <3.
