Sollux starts to push you on the swing. He does it very unenthusiastically, and he starts to bore you, "Sollux quit being so boring."
"What? I'm not boring. I'm always double the fun. Look, if you want me to go home I will.", Sollux then stops pushing you and starts to walk away. You flip and then hop out of the swing as quickly as you can, but you fall face first onto the wood-chip covered playground floor. Sollux hears you fall to the ground and he immediately turns around, "(name)! Are you okay? I'm sorry.", he walks over to you and helps you to your feet. You dust yourself off and give him a pouty face.
"What?", he tilts his head to the side and looks at you.
"Nothinggggggg.", you walk past him and jab him in the side making him flinch. He growls and you run towards the slide to get away from him. Sollux chases after you and you jump onto the slide and climb up it. Once you reach the top, you start to laugh as you watch Sollux struggle to climb up the slide. You reach out your hand to him and decide to help him up. He grabs your hand, but he pulls you down the slide with him. You land on top of him as you fall off of the slide. You both start to laugh, as you roll off of Sollux and back onto the wood chips. You didn't notice what time it was, and it's starting to get dark out. Oh! You can show Sollux your secret place now! You laugh to yourself for a second, you don't really have a name for it, and calling it the "secret place" makes it seem childish. You stand up and help Sollux to his feet. "So, wanna go and see my secret hideout?"
"Pfft, you have a secret hide out?"
"Yeah, got a problem with that? Trust me, it's really cool. C'mon, since it's getting dark it'll look even cooler!" You race off in the direction of your "secret place" and Sollux walks, following your path. You get to a large forest of trees, and you wait for Sollux to catch up to you. "Okay, we have to hold hands for this, I don't want to lose you in here.", Sollux hesitantly gives you his hand, and as soon as you grab hold of it, you start to lead him through the trees. You twist around and zigzag through many trees. Finally, you reach a tree knocked over on its side, leaning up against a larger, taller oak. The knocked over tree has adapted, and re-rooted itself into the ground, and also grew around the trunk of the massive oak, clinging its branches to the many knotholes and branches that the Oak has to offer. Behind those trees, a thick wall of bushes lay behind it. "Okay, can you climb?"
"Uh... I don't think I've ever tried? What, do I look like a monkey to you?!"
"Yes."
"You weren't supposed to answer that."
"Whatever, just follow what I do.", you turn to face the knocked over tree, and climb upwards towards the large Oak. The Oak has an open crevice that's large and flat enough on the bottom for you to stand up in. Facing the inward side of the tree, you reach up towards a large branch, and pull yourself up on top of it. Sollux follows after you. "So here's the tricky part, you have to balance yourself and walk across the branch, and then jump over to another. It may sound difficult, but as soon as you see me do it, you'll know how to do it easily." You turn around and face the outside end of the branch. Luckily, this Oak is so big that you don't have to worry about breaking it. You stand up and balance yourself on the branch. You take your time, and slowly walk down the end of the branch as if you were on a thin wire. You take a few more steps and then stop about halfway in the middle of the branch, you look forward and see the next branch you need to hop to. It's not that far away, so it's easy to move over to. You reach and step over to the other branch with one foot, there's another branch growing out of that one that you're able to grab hold of and pull yourself over to. Sollux watches you and hesitantly follows your lead. But he managed to do just fine, and he made it over to where you are. Facing the tall, thick wall of bushes, you can now see over the top of it. On the other side of the bush wall, you can see the top part of a wooden ladder. You've put a thick wooden plank on top of the bush wall in front of the ladder to provide support when climbing in and out of your hide out. The bushes are surprisingly thick and can support quite a bit of weight. You climb over to the wooden plank and climb down the ladder into your hide out; Sollux follows. Sollux looks around in awe.

The floor is covered in leaves and long flowing glass. If you look up, you can see the sky clearly though the trees and leaves surrounding you. There are mushrooms and moss growing near almost every tree, and blue flowers cover the floor in random patches with clovers growing close by. The sky has grown very dark, and you whip out your phone from your pocket and turn on a flash light. You move over to a stout tree with a small hole in the side of the tree. Reaching inside of the hole, you pull out a small box of matches, and two wax candles mounted onto rocks so you can hold them. You light one candle, and hand it to Sollux. Then you put your phone away and light your own. "So, isn't it cool?", you look at Sollux and wait for his answer.

"It's pretty awesome... I will admit that.", he says to you. You smile at his response. At least he doesn't think it's weird.

"Okay, it's getting pretty dark. Do you know what a Fire Fly is?", you look at Sollux questioningly.

"What the fuck is a Fire Fly."

"Of course.", you laugh, "Well, its a bug that's butt can light up."

"What.", Sollux gives you a look of concern. "Did Gamzee give you slime pie?"

"No no no no no, he didn't I promise, I promise. I swear they're real.", you can't stop laughing at this. Sollux raises one eyebrow and still continues to give you a concerned look.

"Look, there! There's a whole group over there!", you point with your other hand that isn't holding the candle and Sollux looks over in that direction.

"Holy shit you weren't joking."

"Of course I wasn't joking, stupid.", You sit down on the grassy floor, and place your candle on a nearby rock. Then you lean back and lay down on the grassy floor and look up to the star filled sky. There are very few clouds out, so you can see the stars perfectly. You poke at Sollux's leg, turning his attention away from the fire flies over to you. Without having to say anything, he sits down next to you on the floor, and stares up at the sky at the stars. Fire flies dance like little lights in the trees, and the soft breeze rustles the leaves of the trees. You end up falling asleep from the calming noises of the trees and wind.

"Hey, uh, (name)... I know i've been a really big asshole to you, and i'm surprised you've been able to put up with me for so long... and I just wanted to say thank you for not giving up on me and for being my Moirail... I'm not sure how you feel... but I think I'm flushed for you, and I just want you to know... I'm flushed red for you (name).", he looks down at you only to realize that you're asleep, and he realizes what he's said and blushes mustard yellow in embarrassment.

"Are you seriously asleep?!", Sollux pokes your cheek in frustration.

"Huh, what? What'd I miss, did I fall sleep?", you sit up quickly and look at Sollux.

"Did you hear any of what I just said?"

"Nope.", you answer plainly, unsure of what he's even talking about.

Sollux growls in frustration and gets up, "We're going home, lets go.", Sollux walks over to the ladder and starts to leave.

"WAIT WHAT DID YOU SAY DON'T GO!!", you blow out his candle and also blow out yours and put them back in the knot hole with the matches. You scramble up the ladder and follow Sollux. You climb down the giant oak tree after him. You decide not to bother him any more by asking what he said because he seems really pissed off. You walk down the side walk following Sollux a couple feet back. It starts to get chilly and you put your hands in your pockets to keep them warm. Then you realize, "OH MY GOD SOLLUX, I FORGOT MY HOUSE KEY AT HOME."

Sollux turns around to face you, "What do you mean?"

"I can't get into my house without my key!"

"Wouldn't the door be unlocked?"

"I always leave it unlocked for my mom for when she comes home, but it's past ten and she's probably home already and probably asleep! She always locks the door behind her when she gets home and then she passes out on her bed."

"Wouldn't that be risky if you leave your door unlocked all the time...?"

"THAT'S NOT THE POINT! I don't have any where to sleep tonight... My mom probably thinks i'm already asleep because I turned off all of the lights in the house..."

"Oh...", Sollux stands there in silence unsure of what to say. Then he sighs and finally speaks, "You can stay at my place for the night I guess... But you have to sleep on the couch."

"tHAN K  YOU SO MUCH.", you sigh with relief. Now you just have to make sure you don't piss him off so he doesn't kick you out. Thank god you have such an amazing Moirail.
