Stars (A Sollux x Reader) //Completed!

Chapter 9

You turn to face Eridan, "Okay fish face, truth or dare?" He stares back at you and begins to think, "Dare", he replies with a hint of arrogance in his voice. "Hmm, okay, I dare you to... Strip into just your underwear and cape and profess your love for Netflix."

"What...", he looks at me weirdly and blushes a slight violet purple, "you have got to be kiddin' me." He looks around the circle nervously,"Do you... Want me to right now? In front of everyone?"

"Uh, yeah. It's a dare, you have to do it right now.", you reply. He looks around uncomfortably as if expecting something to come and help him from this humiliation. He starts to strip, first taking off his cape so then he can take off everything else.

After Eridan had finished stripping down into just his underwear and his cape, he looked around nervously once again,"This is down right embarrasin' and I don't see the purpose." Everyone in the circle started to laugh. "It's not funny!", he yells. "You still have to profess your love to Netflix!", you say to him. He starts to pout but eventually he manages to say, "I love Netflix, it is always there for me whenever no one else is. Which is... Most of the time... Netflix I love you." Laughter burst out from everyone in the circle. Poor Eridan, he was blushing quite a lot and looked like he was on the verge of tears. "Aw Eridan, I'm sorry. But you're the one who suggested we play this game in the first place.", you say. Eridan walks back to his spot in the circle and sits there with an upset look. Maybe you should go and say sorry to him later... You feel kind of bad. "OKAY EVERYONE, I THINK THATS ENOUGH OF THIS STUPID WRIGGLER GAME. LETS DO SOMETHING ELSE.", Karkat looks around the circle for suggestions, "NOTHING? WELL THEN, LETS WATCH A MOVIE."

"No, no no no, anything but your shitty RomComs!", Sollux objects, "let's play video games or something."

"Can I draw?", Terezi asks. Then all of the sudden everyone starts talking at once over each other. "OKAY SHUT UUUUUPPP!", everyone goes silent. Thank you Karkat, you felt like your ears where about to explode. You look around for a moment trying to spot Eridan. He had disappeared, you guess he went to find some place to change back into his clothes in peace. You weren't paying attention to the current conversation, but when you tuned back in, apparently you all had decided to watch a movie anyways. You actually didn't think RomComs were that bad. But everyone else seemed to object. Oh well. Everyone else in the circle stood up and followed after Karkat into a different room. Sollux went over to you and held out his hand, you grabbed it, and your hand warmed up and he pulled you to your feet. "Thanks", you say to him. "No problem.", he lets go of your hand and walks after the rest of the group. The warmth that you received from him grabbing your hand disappeared. You frowned slightly at this. You were a naturally cold person, which caused your hands to be pretty cold most of the time. After standing in one spot for a while, you went into the room after Sollux. When you walked in, you saw the trolls sitting down on a couch, and some on the floor. Sollux was sitting farther away from the others, leaning up against the wall on the right side of the couch. He sat facing the TV until he saw you walk in. He patted the floor next to him, inviting you to come and sit next to him. You smiled and walked over to him and happily sat down on the floor next to him. You had a perfect view of the TV, away from most of the others. God, even from here you could hear all of the trolls whispering to each other. You guess Karkat could hear them as well, because he looked back behind him from a shelf full of movies and yelled at them to be quiet, "SO WHAT DO YOU SHITHEELS WANT TO WATCH?"

"Anything that isn't a RomCom.", Terezi replied. This response clearly annoyed Karkat, causing him to throw something at her. It looked like a crab plushie. Karkat finally pulls out a movie, "SINCE YOU SHITHEADS DIDN'T TELL ME WHAT YOU WANTED TO WATCH, I DECIDED FOR YOU. SO WE'RE WATCHING TROLL TITANIC.", a large amount of irritated sighs sounded from around different parts of the room. You sit there in silence, clearly okay with this. Sollux noticed and gave you a weird look, "Don't tell me you like RomComs."

"I'm okay with them.",you say. He says nothing else, and just turns back to looking at the TV screen. The movie starts up, and you begin to watch. After about halfway through the movie, you feel something on your shoulder. You look over at Sollux and see him asleep, his head resting on your shoulder. You try shaking him awake. He was out cold. Damn, how late does this guy stay up on his laptop? Sollux's glasses start to slip off of his face and you begin to freak out a bit. You decide to take them off of him and set them to the side, hopefully he doesn't get upset about it. You can just tell him they slipped off and you didn't want to wake him by trying to put them back on him. You stare at his sleeping face and blush slightly. His little fangs were the cutest things ever. His breathing was soft and repetitive. You look up at his horns. He has 4 horns on his head, 2 on each side, the bigger curled one on the outside and a smaller curled one on the inside. Then you start to get curious. You want to touch them. You carefully move your other arm up to one of his horns, trying not to move too much. Lightly, you stroke one of the sides of his horns. As you do this, a soft purr rises from his throat. Do trolls normally purr? You start to pet his horn one more time. But this time he wakes up and starts to move. Before you can move your hand away he grabs you by your wrist and gives you an irritated look. "What the fuck are you doing?? Why are you touching my horns, and where are my glasses?!", he whisper-yells as quietly as he can, making sure no one else can hear him but you. "I-I was just curious. I wanted to know what they felt like, and then you purred and it was kind of cute so... And your glasses were slipping off of your face so I took them off! I'm sorry, really!", you reply. Sollux's expression gets even more irritated at this response, "Can you not ask me before you touch my horns? That's not fucking cool (name). You don't know how Troll Horns work. Honestly, I thought I could trust you with respecting my personal space." You frown at this, "says the one who fell asleep on MY shoulder...", you mumble. "What??? What did you say?", he looks at you angrily. "Nothing... Nothing important, I'm sorry.", you hand him his glasses and get up and move to the opposite side of the couch. Walking in front of the TV blocking the view of the movie for a bit which angered Karkat making him growl at you. You sit down against the wall opposite of Sollux on the other side of the couch. "Seriously... What a grump...", you said to yourself quietly. You didn't notice who you sat next on the wall. You looked over to see Eridan, "What happened with you and Sol?"

"Nothing... He got pissed at me is all.", you looked away from him. "Oh, he does that every now and then. He's a grump if you haven't noticed already. Don't wake him up from a nap until he's had his coffee. I know too well not to wake him up after he's asleep...", Eridan trails off. "Oh yeah, Eridan, I wanted to say sorry about daring you to do that. It was pretty funny though.", you laughed. "It's okay. At least you know how to say sorry. Unlike most of the trolls on this stupid planet.", there he goes again, pouting. You pat him on the head, "You're a nice guy Eridan."

"Um, thanks...", he looks away from you, clearly hiding his blushing. You decide to leave him be and you turn back to the movie. It'll be a while until it's over.

--Bonus, Sollux's P.O.V--

"Shit, I accidentally snapped at (name). Well... She did touch my horns without asking... She kind of deserved it... But at the same time she didn't... I should say sorry but, do you think she'll forgive me?", Sollux thought to himself. He cursed under his breath and put his head back up against the wall and continued to watch the movie.
