Two issues ago, back in The Black Hole, we tasked you with "The Smallest Black Hole Challenge." You had to write a caption or comment-sized story for the above image.
This is what we've got!
Our favourite, from DavidGibbs6:
Using a miniature black hole travelling at a thousand miles an hour seemed like a good idea. A way to bore a hole in the Indian Ocean and create a new island from the lava flow. On the other side of the earth, crews prepared for a new geothermal power station to be operated over the hole. Jason however, who was sitting on the toilet, seventy miles to the east, wasn't prepared when someone fucked up the math.
Somewhere in the world, staff meetings prove that black holes do exist, sucking time and life out of human existence.
"Blackholey-moley! What the hell am I doing on Earth? Where's my star, TK105?"
I never thought the Grand Canyon would look so small
