''You're leaving?'' A small voice asked. I turned around and there stood Octi in the middle of the entryway. ''Why would you just leave?!''

''We couldn't find you, we looked everywhere''

''That doesn't explain why you would just pack up and leave'' He scoffed.

''Octavious the mission is over, we are now trespassing if we stay here longer''. River interrupted.

''I don't want you to leave''

''I don't have a choice''

''There is always a choice'' He snapped as he walked away.

''Octavious!'' I cried after him. ''Guys I have to-''

''Yeah go'' River said, grabbing my bag, I silently thanked him then started running after Octavious''.

''Octi wait'' I called.

''No Lavinia, You have to go so just go'' He yelled. I grabbed his shoulders and turned him around.

''Can you just listen for five minutes? '' I pleaded.

''Why? you made it pretty clear you want to go'' He snarled.

''Octavious I don't have a choice, if I could stay I would''

''Then why don't you!?''

''Because I don't exist!'' I yelled. ''Octi, our parents don't know I'm alive. no one was supposed to know. You weren't supposed to know'' I sighed sliding down the wall. ''I can't just come back and pretend like the last seven years haven't happened'.

''I don't want to say goodbye'' He whispered, leaning his head against my shoulder. I wrapped my arms around him and drew him closer. ''I don't want to lose you again''

''Octi, you'll never lose me. You'll never have to say goodbye because I will always be here''.

''It's just not the same. You're not going to be here physically, It's just not fair''.

''Octi, nothing in life is fair. I didn't understand what the world was like as a child but I thought I always knew where my life would be headed. But nothing happened the way it was supposed to. I wasn't fed my childhood with a silver spoon with the taste of sparkly dresses and sugar. I didn't get to see the days where the sun should have been stronger than the rain, or where the sweet scent of innocence should have consumed me. I only got the darkness, and I thought that somehow that this was fair but I always thought that if I could protect you, you wouldn't have to go through the same things I did. But somehow similar things happened to you. Nothing in life is fair, and I know it isn't fair that I can't stay but this is my life now. Not the one where we are a big happy family with two loving parents that would do anything to keep us safe''

''I know, I'm just frustrated''. He sighed.

''I know'' I whispered, kissing his forehead. ''Come on, the others are going to think I kidnapped you'' I chuckled, as I pulled him up and onto his feet. We started walking back to the entrance. My arms still slung around his shoulder. Before I walked out the door, I brought him into a tight hug. Not wanting to let go.
