Allie and Bernard had spent nearly five days into their break, with the teasing going back and forth.
It had chilled out quite a bit, but the morning of the fifth day, it was beginning to kick up again. Bernard was currently glaring at the page he was reading as he sat on the floor, with Allie sat behind him on the couch.
Since most of their days consisted of reading, they never really bothered each other too much. But today, for some reason, Allie was insistent on messing with him, making it impossible to focus. She kept pulling on his ears, and would start messing with her hair every time he would try to read. The tips of his ears were red and he knew that Allie was enjoying messing with him. It had been an hour, and he was still stuck on the same page. Allie yanked on the tip of his ear once more, causing Bernard to slam his book shut and turned to glare at her.
"Will you stop it?" He hissed. "I'm trying to read!"
Allie didn't answer, but gave him a smile. "Come on, Bernard. Why don't you just read later?"
Bernard stood up, walking to sit in a chair, hoping she would leave him be if he ignored her. He opened the book, holding it up so he could ignore Allie's pouting face.
"Bernard," she whined. "Come on, Bernie. Don't ignore me."
He focused on the book, gripping it as he tried to stand strong. Allie sighed, and when Bernard ignored her, she did it again. His fingers turned white, his jaw clenching. Another loud and dramatic sigh caused Bernard to snap his book shut, turning to glare at the blonde who was draped dramatically over the couch.
"What?" He demanded, his tone sharp. "What do you want?"
"Attention."
Bernard rolled his eyes, looking at the blonde elf with slight annoyance. "Well what do you want to do, Allison?"
"Can we play outside?"
Bernard tilted his head back, not wanting to at all, but agreed anyway. Allie jumped up, letting out a laugh of joy, causing Bernard to smile to himself. He sighed a bit, shaking his head.
The things he did for her.

Allie ran outside as fast as she could, not bothering to grab a coat. Apparently, though, Bernard was not very pleased about it.
"Allison Calvin, come put your coat on right now!" He yelled from the doorway.
"I don't need a coat, Bernard!" Allie argued. "I've been living here for nearly nine years now, I'm used to the weather."
"Coat, now! Or we're staying inside!"
Allie groaned dramatically, but shuffled inside to grab her coat. She grumbled to herself, saying how bossy Bernard was. She was quick to slip it on, and then ran back outside. As soon as Bernard joined I grabbed a pile of snow, making a snowball, and chucking it at Bernard. It hit him square in the face, and he stumbled back a bit in shock. "Allison!"
