Ethan
I woke up and stared at the clock besides my bed. I sighed and sat up stretching my arms. I rolled my head slightly and pressed my neck breaking the tension free.
It has been a long time since I have needed the ringing of the alarm to get up. Since last ten years, I have always woken up at six in the morning, causing my body to wake up automatically.
I got out off the bed and went to the bathroom. I came back and threw the towel on my bed after wiping my face with it. I opened the closet and wore my workout clothes.
I opened my door and stared at the darkness in the living room. My head automatically raised to look at Ophelia's room upstairs. The door was closed and there was a small beam of light coming from the small gap between the door and the floor.
I have realised that she likes to sleep with lights on. How she is able to sleep though is beyond me. I know that I can never do that. Being a light sleeper, I would probably stay awake the whole night.
If we ever have to share a room, the lights stay off without a doubt.
Why am I even thinking about this though? It is not like I will ever have to share a room with her.
That rebell will probably kill me before that.
I smiled slightly at the thought as I plugged my earphones in my ear and walked to the gym.
I was thirty minutes into my routine when there was a slight knock on the door.
"Good morning", I said as I got off from the treadmill to face Ophelia.
"Hey, good morning", she smiled at me and entered. I noticed she was wearing a loose yellow t-shirt and track pant.
Prim and proper. Just the way she likes it.
"What brings you here this early in the morning?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Oh nothing actually. I just happened to get up early today. I noticed you came here and I decided to make some use of my time since, I am so not going to sleep again," she shrugged.
I nodded lightly, still confused, and asked her, "So...you want to...use the gym?"
"Yeah, if you don't mind", she told me.
"Oh no worries. Of course, you can use it", I told her and went back to my workout.
"Thanks," she said and walked to the wall was covered completely with a large mirror.
She was directly opposite from me as I lifted the weights from the shelf.
"Mind if I play some music?" she asked pointing to the stereo on the self and I just shrugged.
I started lifting the weights as the music started. I looked up to see that she had opened her hair and she was looking at herself in the mirror.
As the music picked up, Ophelia started dancing.
If it was just a normal workout dance, something like aerobics, I would have probably not been so surprised. But, it wasn't.
She was dancing dancing.
The way her body bend at the moves as if they were telling a story of their own. Her legs moving at each beat as if emphasizing the song. Her expressions as deadly as any weapon that could kill any man with red blood. The way her lips moved as she sung the song made my blood boil. Her red hair was flying in the air like waves of the ocean. Every move of her making her look more beautiful than before.
I had never thought I could be so intrigued by just looking at someone dancing.
Long gone was my concentration on the workout at hand. I slowly slid down to keep the weight aside before it slips from my hand and hits my foot, my eyes not leaving her for a second. I gulped as my throat felt dry. Looking at her dance was doing something to me that I couldn't explain. It was turning me on, yes, but there was something else. Something amazing.
