Ophelia

"Okay, let's start," I said sitting beside Ethan on the couch.

I gave him his mug of coffee as I sipped on mine.

He looked at me with a frown.

"What?" I asked.

"Where is your stuff? Like pens and paper for notes, different colored sticky note and highlighters for reminders, red wires connecting the dots, thumb pics to put up pictures and stuff?" he asked with fake seriousness.

I could tell he was about to burst out laughing.

I glared at him, "This is not some detective work that need planning and plotting. It will happen naturally. Just like breathing."

"Right and that is why we are sitting here sipping on coffee and discussing how to get them to talk. I don't know about you, but to me, it does sound like a beginning to the planning and plotting," he smirked at me.

"Ethan, stop making fun of me and concentrate," I told him with a glare.

"Disclaimer, no matter what you do, it's not gonna work," he told me and rolled his eyes.

"Thanks for the warning. Now, done?" I said narrowing my eyes at him.

He laughed and sipped the coffee.

"So, you told me how they met and how they separated. But, that isn't enough for this to work. So, tell me about rest of the stuff", I told him.

"What rest of the stuff? That was everything," he frowned.

I rolled my eyes, "Ethan, rest of the stuff like what did they like about each other, what were some of their romantic memories together, how they fell in love, what connected them apart from the marriage, basically all the good moments they shared with each other."

"I don't know," he shook his head.

"You don't know?" I asked him incredulously.

"Well, why would I care about why my parents wanted each other?" he asked with a shrug.

"Out of curiosity! Wait, don't tell me you have never asked them anything about their relationship at all," I said not believing it.

"I was a kid, Ophelia. Anyways, who cares about how their parents fell in love?" he told me.

"People! Normal people," I scoffed.

"In your head. I bet if you call Ash right now and ask him, even he wouldn't know," he rolled his eyes.

"Then you both are idiots. Everyone knows about their parents. Payton, Taylor, I, we all know," I told him.

"Name one guy," Ethan gave me a flat smile.

I thought for a second and then, shrugged, "Well, maybe it is a girls' thing then."

"Exactly. Guess my work is done here," he told me and got up.

"No, it isn't. Sit back down," I ordered.

"You are the only human in this universe who does that to me. You know that, right? Everyone else is too scared of me to even think about anything close to ordering me around," he frowned at me.

"And you hate the fact that I am not scared of you, correct? Hurts your ego," I smirked at him.

He rolled his eyes and sat down.

"Okay, so now tell me, are any of their special days coming up? Birthdays, anniversaries, anything else?" I asked.

He thought for a second and said, "Nope. Nothing for next two months."
