chapter 10

** at the office **

" yn my dear you are finally here. We were waiting for you. " Mrs.jeon said hugging her tightly.
" mom i am also here. " Jungkook said also hugging his mother while she just chuckled at her son.

" So we should get ready to introduce our next CEO of lee industries. " Mr.lee said making everyone nodd. Here jungkook's eyes was looking around to find lisa but she is nowhere to be seen.

he couldn't even ask someone about her as it will be suspecious.
So he just sighed and started to enjoy everyone's company. Mr.lee was on the mic announcing yn as the CEO.

After his announcement everyone clapped making yn smile as everyone accepted her as the CEO.
She was happy after finally achieving her dreams for which she was working hard since childhood. She looked at jungkook only to find him standing there with a poker face no showing any emotions.

She sighed before again looking infront of her. One by one all staff members her family members congratulated her except her own husband. All of them were looking at jungkook to see him congratulating her. He also looked at them before slowly wrapping his arms around her.

Her mouth hang open seeing his actions. Hesitantly she also wrapped her hands around him hugging him back. At this time someone entered the office with a smile but after seeing the scene infront of her, her smile faded away.

Lisa's heart broke seeing them hugging each other. " I wanted this to happened right?? then why i am feeling so hurt right now?? "
she thought before wiping her tears that seemed to fall without her knowing. She looked at them one last time before going from there not wanting to face them anymore.

Pulling away from each other her cheeks turned bright pink while he also felt heat on his face. Everyone giggled looking at the new couple being all shy.

After sometimes jungkook and his parents went away from there with yn's parents also leaving her alone. Seating on her chair she thought about her bestfriend. She missed lisa so much. It was a big day for her. She wanted to spend this day with lisa but she was nowhere to be seen. Not even called her once after her marriage.

so yn decided to call her to ask if something happened to her. After three calls lisa picked up.
" Where are you lili?? i am missing you so much. I didn't even get to meet you after my wedding.
lets meet today ok?? " yn asked being all excited but her excitement faded hearing lisa's words.

" I am going away from here yn. "
Lisa said a cold voice. " Wh- what going away from here?? where are you going?? " " i am going to London to continue my further studies. " " But you didn't tell me anything about it. " " You were busy yn with your marriage so i didn't wanted to disturb you. "

" What disturb are you talking about?? it's such a big deal for me. And you are telling me this today.
when are you going?? "
" i am going today and i am at the airport now " " you must be kidding me right now. Wait i am coming there. " Saying this she hang up the call going towards the door.

As soon as she opened the door she bumped into someone making her hiss. She looked up and saw jungkook standing there. " Where are you going in a hurry?? " he asked being confused.

" lisa is going away from here and i was going to meet her. " She said making jungkook looked at her in shock. " What!!!! where is she going?? " " she is going to London and she is at the airport now. That girl didn't tell me anything about it. I have to go now. "

" I will also go with you. " Saying this they both started to go but someone came to them. " Mam you have sign this documents. "
" I don't have time right now. I will do them once i come back. "
" No mam it's really important. You have to sign it now otherwise many important projects will be stopped. " " But i- " she couldn't complete her sentence when jungkook spoke.

" you stay here i will go. " he said making yn look at him. " Okay but tell her to call me. And say that i got stuck with some important works so i couldn't come. " As soon as she said that jungkook ran from there. She got little confused by his behavior but shrugged it off.

** At the airport **

lisa's pov

" at this point i think it's better to go away from here. I want them to be happy but i think i won't be able to see it with my eyes. " A dry chuckle left her mouth before she spoke again. " Huhh who would be happy seeing your own boyfriend being romantic with your own bestfriend. " lisa sighed listening to annucement of the flight.

She took her luggage and started going towards the counter to enter. Right then jungkook entered the airport breathing heavily after running all the way there from the parking.

He was desperate to see her again. To see her one last time. He got inside looking for her but he couldn't find her anywhere. He was running here and there that's when he heard a flight take off.

Jungkook prayed with all his might that that isn't the plane lisa was in. He ran towards the counter to hear if this was the plane for London.

" Is this the plane for London?? "
" yes sir this was the last flight for London. " she said politely while he was disappointed in him for coming there late. He sat there on one of the seat looking down.

Suddenly his phone rang making him come out of his thoughts. He looked at his phone and saw it was yn. " Did you meet her?? what did she say?? " " i couldn't meet her. I came late. " " O- oh ok then. I will talk to her in call. " " Hmm " saying this he cut the call.

" Did i really lost you this time?? "
he thought while tears started to bream in his eyes.
