~Winter's pov~

"Winter..." I heard Hunter say, my ears were ringing, I opened my eyes, we were still in the car but it was flipped on its roof.

"Come on, damn it, come on!" Hunter said trying to open the door, a vehicle approached, I pulled my gun out ready to fire it, but it was May, i sighed and lowered the gun.

"Creel's on foot. But he won't be for long" Hunter told her.

"Hartley and Idaho?" May asked.

"Dead" I answered as May tried the door.

"There's no use. It's jammed" Hunter replied.

"We have to get you two out of here"

"My leg is pinned. Don't worry about us, there's no time" Hunter answered, as tires screeched in the distance.

"Soldiers are coming"

"Creel has the damn thing that burned Hartley, you need to get him. Go!" I told her, she passed Hunter blow touch.

"Good luck" She said and ran back to the bike, Hunter blow touched the door to open it, he pushed it open and climbed out, and helped me out, we slowly walked to the front of the SUV so the soldiers could see us.

"Hands on your head! On your knees!" We listened, as soldiers came behind us and handcuffed us, they pulled us up and dragged us to two different cars, they opened the trunk of the car and shoved me in.

~Time Skip~

I managed to get the handcuffs off. I checked the trunk of the car for anything to used to fight them but there was nothing, I heard the car stop and the truck opened, the two soldiers pulled me out the trunk "Just as I was dropping off to sleep" I heard Hunter say, the soldiers dragged me away from the car and dropped me on the grass and dropped Hunter next to me "Thank you very much...excuse me, gents, can I get a glass of..." and the cars drove off "...water?" I sighed and sat up. I heard the sound of a helicopter, I stood up and a helicopter had landed in the field and General Talbot got out.

"Mr. Hunter. Miss Blood. I don't believe we've had the pleasure" Talbot said walking over to us "Brigadier General Glenn Talbot" and shook our hands "Looks like you need a lift, soldier"

~Time Skip~

"Sierra Leone, three years ago. Ring a bell?" Talbot asked, but we didn't answer "How about Basra, '08? Operation Panther's Claw. Come on, Lieutenant, Mini Romanoff. Tell me the stories are true"

"I'm not a lieutenant anymore, sir" "Don't call me that" Me and Hunter answered at the same time.

"Why is that, son?" Talbot asked Hunter "With your record, five commendations for distinguished service?"

"Merits for basket weaving, pottery. Don't forget those"

"Just trying to figure out, how a guy like you, one of the SAS's finest, winds up running with a bunch of mouth-breathing mercs"

'Should I be offended?' I thought to myself

"Why does any man do anything, General?" Hunter asked "I met a girl" I noticed he glanced over to me.

"Look, Hunter, I think we're pretty like, minded guys, so let's not waste each other's time, you know what I'm after"

"Guessing it's not Carl Creel?" I asked.

"Creel's small-time. Think big fish" He told me.

"Coulson" I replied.

"Coulson" He repeated "He's a vigilante, a zealot who will risk anything to further his own agenda but lucky for you, I've got a senator with very deep pockets that wants him. So you go ahead. Name your price"
