This is a Much Less Cool Way to Die

~Winter's pov~

"This is a much less cool way to die" I muttered, I was strapped to a bed with doctors around me.

"Winter, it's me. It's Mama, you have a two-inch blade concealed in your beltline"

"What?" I asked, as the doctors looked at me, "What are you going to do to me?"

"Outside right hip"

"Держите ее в сознании для черепных надрезов" (Keep her awake for cranial incisions) I felt the knife and grabbed on to it, one of the doctors got close to me, I cut the straps off and stabbed him, I sat up and cut the another straps.

I kicked the another doctor in the chest launching them backwards, I felt the pain off the needle stabbed in the my shoulder, I rolled off the bed taking the doctor down with me, I kicked him in the face and got on my knees, one of the doctors tried running out.

I threw the knife into his neck, I stood up and pulled the needle out my shoulder and took my jacket off of the counter. "You couldn't have told me sooner?"

"Don't throw a fit" Melina said. "There wasn't time"

"Where did he take the vials?" I asked, grabbed one of the wipes off the counter and wiped the mark off my forehead.

"Probably to cold storage. Dreykov still has the widows under this control so you have to expose them to this antidote" She said, I walked into the hallway and noticed a vent.

"Yeah, sure, easy" I said.

"Melina, I found the location of the vials" I said into my earpiece.

"I've had a slight setback, you'll need to get to the widows"

...

"Winter, slight change of plan, I completely demolished one of the engines and we are going into a controlled crash"

"Fantastic" I said, running down the hallway "I'm heading to the widows now" I opened one of the doors which looked like a training room but no one was in there "No" I saw a grenade on the weapon rack, I grabbed it and wrapped the vials around it.

I rounded the corner and saw Yelena "Yelena, where's Dreykov office?" I asked her.

"This way" She told me, following her down the hall.

I pulled the pin on the grenade, I kicked open the door and threw it in the room. It explode and a red cloud flooded above Nat and the widows.

I walked over to Nat and helped her up "Hey, you okay? That looks like it hurts. Okay, I take out on three, ready?" I told her, and popped her shoulder back into place "I'm sorry" one of the widows asked something in Finnish.

"Get as far away from here as possible" Nat answered. "You get to make your own choices now" the door shook a bit "We gotta get outta here"

"We need to find Dreykov. Are you coming?" I asked Nat.

"I'm right behind you"

~Time Skip~

I ran over to Dreykov jet, I used the zip line thing and launched myself on top of the jet. I ran over to one of the engines and pulled out the taser stick "Winter!" Nat yelled. "Don't do it!"

"This was fun!" I yelled back.

"No!" I shoved the stick into the engine and it exploded, launching me back. I felt someone grab on to me, I opened my eyes, and Nat was putting a parachute on me.

"Winter?" I heard Nat say and opened my eyes.

"We're both upside down" I said, I slowly sat and looked at her.

"Прости меня сестричка" (Forgive me little sister) She said to me.

"You don't have to say that. It's okay" I told her.

"Hey. Hey. it was real to me, too" She replied, I smiled and hugged her.

"Thank you" I said and broke off the hug hearing footsteps behind me, I turned to see Melina, Alexei and Yelena walking over.

"Everybody good?" Nat asked.

"I am clearly injured" Melina repiled.

"You got something to say?" Nat asked Alexei.

"I'd just mess it up" He answered.

"Here comes the cavalry" Nat said, about the vehicle approaching.

"So, what's our plan?" Melina asked.

"You guys go. I'll stay" Nat told us.

"That's insanity. We fight. We fight with you" Yelena told her.

"I'll hold them off"

"Natasha, we fight" "We can't split up. You're so pig-headed" Melina and Alexei said talking over each other.

"You guys, go" Nat told us again.

"Oh, my god"

"Besides, if it can work out with the five of us, you know, there may be some hope for the Avengers, little bit"

"Okay, well, if you're leaving, then I guess you should take this" Yelena said, taking off her jacket "I know how much you like it" and gave it to her.

"Shucks. It does have a lot of pockets"

"Very handy pockets, yeah"

"He had widows implanted all over the world, Melina will need to copy the formula but you should be the one to tell 'em it's over" Nat told her, I heard a jet landing, I turned around and the door opened and the widows were inside. Yelena started to walk over to them.

"Hey, you take care of yourself, okay?" Melina said to Nat.

"Don't worry, I got this" She answered.

"I know" I started to walk over to the jet, I turned back around to look at Nat, I whistled the one we did from when we're younger and she whistled back. I smiled and walked over to the jet and climbed in.

"Anyway you can drop me Virginia" I asked Yelena.

"Yeah" She answered, I felt my phone vibrating in my back pocket, I pulled it and saw Hunter was calling me.

"Hang on it's my boyfriend" I answered.

"Boyfriend?" Alexei asked, I nodded and answered my phone.

"Hey" I said into my phone.

"Winter" Mack started, I could hear the concern in his voice "It's Hunter"

"What? What happened? Is he ok?" I asked worriedly.

"Daisy attacked him, but don't worry he's stable" He replied

"Ok, I'm on my way" I said and hung up.
