~Winter's pov~

I was sat in the gym, I heard the door open, looked over and saw May and i got up off the floor.

"May, I heard about Andrew. How's he-" I started as May pushed me against the wall "What the hell?"

"Hunter nearly cost Andrew his life, and he was doing it for you" May said angrily.

"I- I feel terrible" I told her.

"You were egging him on, letting him fight your battles for you. It's your fault!"

"If i knew Andrew was in danger, I never-" I started as May turned me around and slammed me into the wall again "Ok. You're upset" As i reached behind me and grabbed May shoulder and switched places with her and slammed her against the wall.

She swung a punch at me but I blocked it, I swung a punched at her she caught it and flipped me to the ground i got on my knees and she tired kicking me I moved backwards and got back on my feet.

She kept trying to kick me as I blocked them with my hands, she grabbed one of the staffs from the side and tired hitting me with it I moved out the way and ducked down and grabbed the staff and flipped her to the ground, as I take the staff from here and pointed it to her.

"So, you can fight your own battles" May said.

"What?" I asked moving the staff away from her "You were testing me?" and I dropped the staff.

"Had to make sure you were mission-ready" She told me, as i pulled her up.

"Coulson still has me off combat duty, the tests say that my lung isn't healed all the way yet" I replied.

"My test says otherwise. Wheels up in 20. Welcome back, Agent Blood" May said and walked out.

~Time Skip~

We walked into the hanger, as Hunter walked down the Quinjet ramp.

"Winter-" Hunter started but May cut him off.

"Not your mission, Hunter. Stay away, or I'll make you stay away" May told him.

"I just want a minute with my girlfriend" Hunter answered, May gave a slight nodded and May walked up the Quinjet ramp "I'm going with you"

"Как ад ты. You put Andrew at risk" I told him.

"I had Ward in my sights. Damn right I pulled the trigger. You of all people should get it" He said.

"I get it. You were quick to violence, and an innocent got hurt but other people aren't as used to your behavior as I am"

"Since when do you care what other people think?" He asked, I didn't say anything "You're really going back in the field after him?"

"I'm ready"

"You lying?" He asked.

"No" I said, he scoffed.

"Do better than I did, yeah?" he said and walked to away.

"You're not gonna say the thing?" I asked and he turned back around.

"You already know" and he walked away, and i walked onto the Quinjet and walked into the communication room, well May was sat at one of the screens.

"Andrew didn't get all the details exactly right. He said there were four men on the scene but only three bodies were recovered" May said as i walked over to her. Coulson's men, two Hydra guys. The fourth guy was one of Andrew's students. That's his ID, but it's an alias. He's not Alexander Braun he's Werner Von Strucker"
