Meet the New Boss

~Winter's pov~

"Piper. Get the squad ready. Training in 10" I told Piper.

"Yes, ma'am" She replied.

"Ma'am?" I questioned.

"Is there a different title you'd prefer?" She asked. "Commander? Sir?"

"Let's just stick to Winter" I told her.

"I can do Winter...I can do that, Winter" I nodded and she walked away.

I watched as Coulson was giving a tour to some people Director Mace invited, they walked passed me and their eyes turned black like last night. I rushed down the hall and down the the containment rooms.

"You're seeing their faces, aren't you?" I asked one of the guys in there.

"Everyone else...what's wrong with them?" He asked me. "Why don't they see it?"

"I do" I answered, he stood up and walked towards the containment modules door. "How do I help them?"

"You can't" He replied "It's everywhere"

"There has to be a way for me to-" I started.

"It's everywhere!" And he started hitting his head on the door. "It's everywhere! Everywhere!"

"What the hell is happening?" Simmons asked but her eyes were black as well, I rushed out the room.

~Time Skip~

"Winter?" Hunter asked, as I was going through everyone's locker. "What's up?"

"The base has been infiltrated. Something got in" I answered.

"So you thought you'd redecorate?" He asked.

"Maybe somebody brought something in, something that's getting to everyone"

"And if you find it, you can destroy it"

"Yeah. That's right" I replied.

"Always ready to do the brave thing. Always looking out for us"

"I won't let them take you"

"Winter, uh, what if we stop, take a minute?" Hunter asked, as I opened another locker "Rest, make a plan"

"I can't. I can't. No time"

"You know what? I'm pretty sure we have blood samples on file for every S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, even the Director. That could help us figure out who's been infected"

"What?"

"We just have to go to the lab" He told me. "How does that sound?"

"Yeah" I nodded and followed Hunter out the room. "Wait, no"

"Winter? You all right?" He asked, as him and the agents around eyes were black.

"Why do you want me to go to the lab so badly?" I asked him.

"I told you, so we can- Ok, look. There's a situation you need to be aware of"

"I'm aware" I told him, and punched him in the gut throwing him backwards "And I'm gonna stop them!" The agents surrounded and I started attacking them.

"She's sick! Don't hurt her!" Hunter yelled, Piper grabbed my arm, I turned around, I twisted her arm and punched her in the gut, she punched me back, I punched her in the face and flipped her to the floor, and continued to fight the other agents.

I swung a punch at Hunter but he caught it "Winter! Winter, stop, it's me" He said, I hit his arm off of me and kicked him in the chest. I went to walk out the training "Winter! Wait, please! You're not well, I can help" I turned to look at him.

"Hunter...I'm doing what has to be done" I answered.

"So am I" a voice said from behind me, I turned around and tried punching them but it did nothing, I grabbed a staff from the weapons rack and tried to hit him, and he caught it "Agent Blood, I urge you to stop now" I let go off the staff.

"You're a monster" I said and went to punch him back he caught it.

"I prefer the term 'Inhuman'" He said, he grabbed me by my throat and pushed me over to one of the wall "I'm sorry about this" I felt my head slam against the wall and everything went black.

~Time Skip~

I gasped awake and shot up, and I was restrained to a bed "Wha...Where am I?" I ask Simmons "Get this дерьмо off of me" Simmons hugged me.

"Welcome back, Agent Blood" She said.

"Did I miss something?" I asked, as she broke the hug.
