~Winter's pov~

"If this thing is that dangerous, then why not tell him?" Mack asked "He's the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D."

"We don't know if we can trust him" Coulson replied.

"So why the hell is he here?" I asked about Reyes.

"Without him, we wouldn't know the Darkhold had resurfaced. But the fewer people who know about it, the better. Fury had no problem opening up Pandora's Box from time to time but even he was afraid of this thing. It's powerful, it's deadly, and now probably in the hands of a pissed-off mad-scientist ghost. So, thoughts, feelings?" Coulson asked. "This is a safe space"

"We need another crack at Eli Morrow, he's the one that knows this book, he'll know what Lucy Bauer wants with it and where she's going next" Mack told us.

"My uncle is not gonna talk to you" Reyes spoke up.

"Well, then this time, we won't give him a choice" Mack told him.

"Let's inform S.H.I.E.L.D., we're taking an asset into protective custody as part of a routine investigation" Coulson said.

"Winter, wanna go to prison?" Hunter asked me "Might be Taco Tuesday"

"I'll call the warden and find out" I said and walked away.

~Time Skip~

"You know, I ask for field work, but I get paperwork" I said to Hunter.

"What's wrong with taking it easy?" Hunter asked.

"Everything" I sighed.

"Come on. You had a near-death experience" He told me.

"It was a death experience. I'm over it"

"Well, at least I thought you'd want to talk about it. You know, what it felt like" and we handed in our ICERs into lockup.

"What do you want to know, Hunter?"

"What did you see?" He asked.

"Серьезно?" I asked him.

"Yeah"

"No. W-" I started.

"Agents, follow me" One of the office told us, we followed.

"So, we're transferring into S.H.I.E.L.D. custody. One Elias Morrow" He asked.

"Everything should be in order" Hunter replied, something in the room felt off, I glanced around the room, the coffee machine was on but there was no mug "Agent Blood called ahead just to cut down on paperwork" I heard the door locked, I looked down the hall and one of the office locked one of the door "She really hates paperwork" I looked on the desk and the phone was not in place "Don't you?" Hunter asked. "Winter?"

"What? Yeah" I answered , Hunter looked at me confused.

"We'll get this taken care of" The man told us "One last thing" he quickly got up and reach for something under the desk.

"Hunter!" we quickly got up, the guy pulled out a shotgun and we hid behind a table in the office.

"You can't fool me, you demons!" He fired two more shots. I heard the gun jam, I got out from behind the table and kicked his desk, pinning him against the wall, and punched him in the face. An office from the hall tried shooting Hunter but he punched them in the face.

"Incoming!" Hunter said and closed the door and locked it. More offices were trying to get in the room, I sighed "I'm gonna state the obvious. Dr. Bauer's here and we need get to Eli Morrow before she does" pushing a filing cabinet against the door.
