~Winter's pov~

I was sat in the living with Hunter as Coulson walked in, Hunter got up and walked over to Coulson.

"Sir, i just wanted to say-" Hunter started, but didn't finish as Coulson grabbed Hunter by the neck and slammed him against the wall.

"Coulson!" I yelled as I got up.

"You were supposed to take Ward out. I sent you to do a job. You failed. Now people are dead" Coulson said to Hunter.

"You need to calm down!" I said to Coulson, as Hunter was gasping for air "Coulson!" I yelled, he listen and get go of Hunter and walked away from us.

"Ward should never have had the chance to do what he did" Hunter replied, catching his breath.

"No. She's right" Coulson told us "I'm the one who picked Ward for this team. Everything that happened since, it's on me"

"Sir, I'd do anything to have another shot at the bastard" Hunter said, as Coulson turned around

"Well, you better not miss this time" Coulson told him.

"This time?" Hunter asked.

"I figured out a way to track down Ward, but we got to go off book"

"My specialty" Hunter told him.

"I'm not sure taking Hunter is really such a good idea" I tried.

"You're going too, Agent Blood. We need you to autopilot" Coulson told me.

~Time Skip~

We were in the Quinjet. I was on autopilot, as I heard Hunter and Coulson were talking behind me "Director?...What? By who? That's why Ward mentioned the portal. He wanted us to go there" I heard Coulson say behind me as I heard a bang, I turned my head to see Coulson's phone was on the floor, as Hunter looked a bit shocked i turn my head back to the front,

A couple minutes later I landed the Quinjet and Hunter and Coulson went into the bank and i waited on the Quinjet.

~Time Skip~

"You really think he can lead us to Ward?" I asked about Ward younger brother was on the floor of the Quinjet with tape on his mouth.

"What I realized about Ward is that every twisted thing he does is just a misguided attempt to justify his past" Coulson said as he walked to Thomas "But there's one thing in his past he can never make right" as he took the tape of Thomas's mouth.

"What is this?" He asked "Did my brother send you?"

"Grant Ward? Doesn't even know you're here, mate" Hunter told him.

"But he's about to" Coulson told him and Coulson pulled out a phone and called a number, as i put the tape back on Thomas.

"I spent every second since you murdered Rosalind trying to understand just how your sick mind works" Coulson said, I sat at the computer to track down Wards location "Big difference is, I've never hurt anyone for selfish reason that is, until now. There's someone here who'd like to say hello. Take a look"

"I thought you might say that, so i brought a friend along" Coulson said as Hunter walked over to Thomas a put a gun to his head and Coulson hung up and Hunter walked away from Thomas, i got up, grabbed a water bottle and undid the cap and walked over to Thomas and took the tape off his mouth.

"Here" I replied.

"Please don't kill me" Thomas begged.

"Nobody wants that" I answered.
