What If...

~Winter's pov~

"New target, Jemma Simmons" Madame Hydra said through my earpiece.

"Yes ma'am" I replied, the name sounded familiar but I didn't know why, I undid the handcuffs on my bed to my hand.

Ward, Daisy, Simmons were being chased by Hydra agents, Ward heard the sound of a monitor bike "Shit" Ward muttered.

"What?" Daisy asked.

"Deadly Widow's on our tail, must be after your friend" Ward replied.

"Who?" Simmons asked.

"She's one of the most deadly assassins, taken out big names, trained by the red room" Ward told her, Daisy and Simmons looked at each other.

"Winter?" Daisy questioned.

"I don't know never meant her, never wanted to" Ward replied, pulling into a parking garage.

"What are you doing? We'll get stuck" Daisy told him.

"Drones will be here any second" Ward replied.

"Drones?" Simmons asked.

"Dwarfs, whatever. The doctor invented them. They're everywhere" Ward told them "I need to grab the antidote"

"What antidote?" Simmons asked.

"For the Widow, they can't control their actions, it's some sort of mind control. S.H.I.E.L.D. been trying to track down the Widow, release them from it" Ward said and parked the car and got out the car.

"Where is she?" Daisy asked Simmons.

"Maybe she lost us" She replied.

"It's Winter, she wouldn't lost us that easily" Daisy told her.

"Here take this" Ward said, handing them a vile with Red inside "It's the antidote, you find her, hit her that it just needs to touch her skin" Daisy nodded "Metro's just up those steps. Two stops to your apartment. You'll be safe there. I'll clear the car. Go, go, go"

"Ward...I'm sorry about Vijay, I got caught up, and I- I had to give May something, I didn't know it could be you" Daisy told him.

"What is your name?" Ward asked.

"Daisy"

"We'll talk get out of here" Daisy and Simmons listened they walked up the steps, they turned the corner, Winter was stood there with a gun pointed at Simmons.

"Winter...Just put down the gun" Daisy said, stepping in front of Simmons.

"Don't move" Winter told them.

"Winter please listen. T-This isn't real" Daisy told her.

"What?" Winter asked in disbelief.

"You know us, in the real world" She tried, Winter moved her finger to the trigger "No, no, no" Ward came from behind them and threw the antidote in front of Winter, shattering it. Winter fell to the floor.

"Ward!" Simmons yelled.

"Winter!" Daisy yelled and ran over to her "You ok?"

"Daisy? What the hell is going on" Winter asked, taking off her mask.

"You remember me?"

"Yeah" She answered "Why wouldn't I, where the hell are we?"

"Okay, this might sound crazy but...we're in another reality"

"What?...no, no, no, no, no"

"Winter it's ok, this isn't real"

"No, I've killed people we know, Nick Fury, Gonzales, Tony Stark, Clint Barton, Natasha..."

...

"You saw Fitz didn't you? Is he like the others? Brainwashed?" Simmons asked Daisy.

"Yeah, she was...different" Daisy told her, I nodded in agreement "But, Simmons, they all are, it's scary, why change things like this? It makes no sense"

"Radcliffe tried to take away people's pain in the Framework" Simmons answered, I scoffed.

"Well that didn't work" I replied "I think more pained than before"

"May's biggest pain was killing the girl in Bahrain, you take that away and hundreds of kids are killed in Boston" Daisy said.

"And Coulson is leading a quiet life" Simmons added. "I'm worried he's not the same man"

"He really let them take a kid?" I asked, she nodded.

"And what did they do to Fitz to make him such an ugly person here?" Simmons asked.

"Well, that one's easy. They stole you from his life" Daisy told her.

"What if he never knew me?" She asked "What if he can't remember? This...This reality is flawless it lures you in"

"I know. I know Can't even believe what I found myself doing. I...I looked up Lincoln, I-I-I interrogated Vijay for being an Inhuman, and I have been here one day. Winter was here for weeks, she through it was her whole life"

"A few choices and a few lives. Radcliffe ran a simulation and now it's a brave new terrifying world" I answered.

"Ok. um...we need to get out" Daisy told us.

"What? N...No, we can't leave them" Simmons replied.

"We have to talk to Yoyo and come back with a game plan, with backup. I don't have powers here" Daisy answered.

"Ok" Simmons sighed.

"Slight problem" I spoke up "I don't know where I am, so I will wake up in a totally different place and last time that happened Aida nearly choked me to death" Daisy sighed.

"You sure?" She asked.

"I have to stay" She nodded, and Simmons grabbed a device off the counter, she grabbed Daisy arm and pressed the button.

"Why are we still here?" Daisy asked.

"I'm not sure" Simmons replied "This should disconnect us from the Framework, wake us up...they know we're here"

"You're supposed to be dead" Daisy pointed out. "Someone re-coded our exit"

"We're trapped"

"Блестящий" I muttered.
