Day 23

Broken, was what you were. You were lying on the cold floor, alone, staring at ceiling which god knows if even existed. All the energy inside of you had drained out. You were helplessly and tiredly lying on the floor.

You didn't know how much time had passed but knew one thing that atleast days had passed. You had tried every single way of escaping but nothing worked out. You had tried every power of yours which included teleporting and telepathy but to no avail.

You had ran until the wall hit you and you fell down. You had screamed until your throat gave up. And atlast, you had cried until your heart ached and eyes had stopped shedding more tears. And it was now that you were lying on the floor, at the verge of dying.

Neither had you eaten anything since Kai left nor did you get any water because you weren't offered one ofcourse. Yes, after that day Kia never showed up neither did Jennie. And you were really glad for it. You never called them or even begged to them to release you because you were happy dying like this rather than being touched by any one of them... especially Kai.

Your vision was getting blurred and one thing that you dearly craved for at that moment was, blood. Human blood. You knew you were going to die never- -theless because of lack of human blood. As a vampire it was your need.

With no hope left, you closed your eyes, and waited for death to embrace you.

"You are not dying just now, dear", you heard a voice you dreaded the most. You felt like dying internally.

Jennie...

You opened your eyes slowly and saw her smiling sarcastically above you, standing not too close but still close.

You just starred at her blankly with no interest. She raised her eyebrows and chuckled before bending down and looking at you with a fake pity.

"Uh look. My sister got hurted so much", she blinked in concern which radiated fakness and if being honest, it hurted you more. You had trusted her. And now by doing this, she really was mocking  your entire existence.

Suddenly, she bursted out laughing and you shifted your eyes again to the unexisted ceiling. You heard her not laughing anymore but still didn't look at her.

"I can get you out of here"

Your eyes moved towards her as you looked at her with the same blankness.

"Just get lost", you simply stated with half opened eyes. She looked quite taken a back by your boldness but maintained her posture as she scoffed and looked at you seriously.

"I am serious Y/n. You really don't want to know what will happen to you if you reject my offer", she smirked and you with all the energy you had, rolled your eyes.

"I-I'm dying anyway...so I don't want y-your fake h-help", you managed to say in between the coughs. It was then that she chuckled in such a serious way which forced you to look at her questionally. She stopped chuckling and tilted her head before leaning a bit closer to you and whispering,

"Oh how dumb you are, aren't you? You really think that after bringing you here with so many difficulties and a mater mind plan, my brother will let you die? You aren't even a bit near  about knowing his intentions, are you Y/n?", she blinked a few times before darkly smirking, making you gulp. "My brother is fucking obsessed with you Y/n. And he can go to any extent to make you his. Not only he is obsessed but thirsty for your powers as well which you yourself aren't aware off yet. Think about it". Her words struck you like a sharp rod in the head. It was as if she knocked some semse into you.

If Kai really wanted you dead...then he would've killed you that day, right there and then? But he didn't.

You gulped down the lump in your throat as you stuttered out, "W-Why would you help me?". She stood up and smiled.
