POV Anya

We finally got a plan in place and are marching on Mount Weather. It's been almost a week and I don't know how Alex is and the rest of our people. Lexa has been a mess, but she hides it well. Just not well enough that I don't know. Our army is restless waiting outside of the border of the acid fog. We have a strategy, but I don't like where Lexa put me. I need to be with Indra's team going inside the reaper tunnels. I need to be able to go in and get Alex. I told her I would come back and get her, and I don't plan on breaking my promise. "Heda, can we speak in private?" I ask Lexa after walking up to her. She is with a small group of sky people and Indra going over last-minute details. "Yes, everyone out" she says, and everyone leaves to tent. "What is it, Onya?" She asks facing me. "I need to be on Indra's team" I say, and she furrows her brows. "I won't let you go back in that mountain. I can't lose you too" she says firmly but I shake my head. "Heda... Leska. I promised Alex I would come back. I need to go in there. I trust Indra but..." I trail off and she bows her head slightly in though. "She needs someone, and we know Indra is not that person." I say and she nods. "Fine." She sighs and I let a breath out. "I will get her back. You will see her again" I say gently, and she lifts her head looking in my eyes with so much emotion.  "Please bring her back to me" she practically begs me. I walk closer to her grabbing her hands. "I will get her back. We will deal with what comes next together." I say and she nods her head. "You love her" I state plainly, and her eyes widen a bit. "Uh...no, I... yes I do as a friend..." she stumbles, and I raise an eyebrow at her. "I know you have been taught that love is weakness. I have been taught it. I tell you that at times, but we were wrong Lexa. It makes us strong. Gives us something to fight for. I have done a poor job at showing it... to both of you and for that I am sorry" I say softly bowing my head. I feel Lexa squeeze my hand. "Alex taught me love was strength, and when I lost her all I felt was weakness. I blamed her for leaving, making me weak. But now looking back it was more than being weak it was about missing apart of myself. The best part and that is what made me weak." She says and I smile at her. "Who's the teacher now?" I joke and she laughs. "Bring her home to me. To us" she says, and I nod giving her one last squeeze then walking out of the tent. 

We got word the fog was down, and we marched right up to the front door. At night fall Indra, Octavia, myself and a few others went into the reaper tunnels to get into position to be let in. I just wanted to knock the door down and rush in, but I relied on my training and stayed clam. We stay waiting for I don't know how long until the door bursts open. "Bellamy!" Octavia says and hugs her brother. "Get them out" he says, and our people start to file out of the door Indra sets up a line as Jackson and some of the sky people help those who need it. "Start leading them out" Indra says to one of our men and they start to go. "You have to leave" I hear Bellamy say and I look over to see a female from Azgeda. I clench my jaw and make eye contact with Indra. "No! I am not leaving without her. You promised! Where. Is. She" she said lowly getting in his face. Octavia steps in but Bellamy hold his hand up. "She was with us, but she saved our lives. The mountain men almost got us, if it wasn't for her, we would be dead. I will go back for her, but you need to move" he says. She doesn't move making him sigh. "You are too weak to go back with us. Get your people out safely. I promise I will get her" he says, and she slowly nods walking past us holding someone up. She looks me in the eye, and I glare at her. She just tilts her head and leaves with the rest. "Who was she talking about Bell?" Octavia asks gaining my and Indra's attention again. "Alex, they dragged her out. She was in pretty bad shape, but we found her, and we got blocked in. O, fire came out of her hands. I... I've never seen anything like it. She saved us and I promised Echo." He says and my eyes widen. "You saw Alex?" I question stepping up to him. He looks at me confused then at Octavia, he turns to me again and nods, "Uh Ya, how do you know her?" He asks. "She was taken from our village when she was young by Ice Nation. When I was locked in here, I saw her. I wasn't able to get her out when Clarke and I escaped." I say and he nods. "Seems like she's a special person. We don't have much time she's in a vulnerable spot and we have a few more people we need to get." He says and I nod heading in, but Indra stops me. "Stay safe. I'll see you out here and take care of her" she says nodding towards Octavia. I nod and she heads out with the rest as Bellamy, Octavia and I walk into the mountain.
