POV Alex

I stand in my tent battle ready, face paint on, hair braided, armor clad and weapons ready. The conclave was to start soon, and I Gaia was going to call us out introducing the fighters to everyone. I was surprisingly calm, I can't describe the feeling, but I know I will fight for Anya. I took another breath and heard Octavia's voice ring out. "Alex? Can I come in?" She asks. "Yes" I call and turn as she walks in. "Are you ready?" She asks making me nod and smile silently to ease her nerves. "I will be fine Tavia." I say making her sigh and nod. "Clarke left with a few others to figure out the other possible solution." She says making me furrow my brows. "I thought she said she would wait till after" I say. "They don't have faith in Pike... Raven and Abby, they trust. They know they will not win the bunker, so they are trying to find some way to save themselves" she says making me nod. "And Lexa? Indra?" I ask her. "Indra is with Lexa. They are making sure everything is in place and that the bunker is guarded just in case. We will be waiting for you in the throne room." She says and I nod hugging her. "Don't worry" I say making her hold me tighter. "Don't die" she says tears in her eyes. "Even if I do it will be ok" I say making her look at me sadly. The sound of the horn breaks us apart. "May we meet again" she says smiling at me. "We will" I say and grab Anya's sword and head out with Octavia behind me. 

I walk out and stand with Octavia seeing Lexa, Indra, and Gaia up on the platform. The 13 clan flags lined up and waiting I listen to Lexa announcing what the fight will be about and how the final clan standing gets the bunker. Gaia starts to announce the clans and their fighter. Roan gets called for Azgeda then I do after for Trikru. Gaia puts the necklace around me and I nod making eye contact with Lexa before standing next to my flag. "what are you doing, Roan?" I ask him. "Fighting for my clan. I'm sorry Alex" he says and I nod straightening my face. The last few get called and just as Gaia is finishing her speech a woman comes storming in. Apparently she is Luna kom Floukru and fights for death... Perfect. After all that we get released to get ready for the fight in a big hall. Only two people can be in the tower as the rest need to clear the fighting perimeter. As I am putting my war paint on Indra and Octavia walk up to me. "Alex, how do you feel?" Indra asks. "Ready. I will be fine" I say gently looking at them both knowing they are worried. "Luna is a great warrior. You need to be careful" Indra says making me nod. "I know" I say finishing my war paint and straightening my braids. "Roan is dangerous too" Tavia says. "I know that too" I say putting my daggers in my belt and ankle then grabbing Anya's sword strapping it to my waist. "Is that Anya's?" Indra asks. "Yes" I say running my hand over the hilt. "Lexa wanted me to give you this" she says handing me a dagger I recognize as her favorite one. "Why?" I ask taking it gently. "She is worried and hopes this will do you well" she says and I smile putting it in my chest piece. "You forgot to mention that she loves you and wished she could be here, but she will be in the tower watching over you" Tavia says nudging Indra who rolls her eyes making me smile. "I'm pretty sure she wanted to send a kiss but..." She trails off smirking. I almost laugh at Indra's face and pat her shoulder. "You don't have to kill them all" she says and I tilt my head. "You are stealthy. You can hide in plain sight use that to your advantage." Indra says and I nod. "Let them do the killing. I just have to kill the last one" I say and she smiles... Well ticks her lip at me nodding. "Fight well, Alex. Anya would be so proud of you. As am I" she says making my face soften and I clasp my hand to her arm nodding at her. Octavia hugs me and kisses my check. "From the commander" she whispers making me chuckle. "Don't die, Al" she says holding back tears. "You can't get rid of me that easily" I say smiling. We bid farewell one last time before they leave. Then a horn sounds and we all walk out. I see Pike and frown. He holds a gun in his belt. We walk to our flags and Gaia says a few things then a horn sounds and the chaos begins.
