So we get some Anya bonding maybe even a Octavia sesh?

POV Alex

I just finished getting dressed and braiding my hair. My weapons were in place and I was ready for a day of training. Last night Anya stayed a bit longer before she reluctantly left for her tent to get some sleep. I slept an hour at most and drank a bit of water this morning but I can't stomach any food. I walk out of the tent and it's early morning the sun barely up meaning most are not out yet. I walk to the training pit and see Indra in a fighting stance swinging her sword. She sees me and stands straight coming towards me. "You're up early" she says and I nod. "Did you get sleep?" She asks and I don't know why she cares. "Yes" I lie and she eyes me but says nothing. "We are going on a hunt. You will be staying" she says and I work my jaw. "Why?" I ask. "Anya has something planned for you." She says and I nod. "She's in her tent expecting you" she says and I nod leaving the pits confused. I reach Anya's tent and tap on the flap. "come in" she says and I walk in glancing around. She was sat at her desk eating and motioned for me to sit next to her. "I want you to heal" she says and I tilt my head. "You have not been sleeping, eating and drinking. You are injured from being stubborn and your mind is not at it's best." She says and I huff lightly. "So spending time with you will cure me?" I ask sarcastically making her smile a bit. "I am known for bringing the best out of people" she says making me laugh lightly and her smlie. "I missed that. You laughing, you should do it more" she says and I smile a bit. "Don't want people to think I'm more crazy than I already am" I tease making her laugh. "I know something has been bothering you since almost dying" she says and I look at her biting my lip. "I can't say" I whisper and she moves a bit closer to me. "Let me help" she says and I look back up at her, vulrunable. "I learned things about myself, about my powers. I talked to someone who told me about me and what's to come" I say and she nods in thought. "I saw my mom" I whisper and she looks at me in shock. "How...?" She asks confused. "I don't know. But she told me about my powers and how to control them. Not to be afraid of them and not letting the darkness creep in." I say and she nods. "It felt so real... She told me a wave of fire would come and wipe out everything. Like Praimfaya. She said I could choose to either tancend or loose my powers, but there's a cost to not transcending." I say and Anya nods her head listening. "I won't die. I will have to watch everyone I love die. When they eventually transcend I will be alone on this world. I'll be alone all over again" I whisper not looking at her. It's silent for sometime but eventually Anya gets up and kneels beside me taking my hand in hers. "How long till this death wave comes?" She asks fear in her eyes. "I don't know. She wouldn't say." I whisper and she nods bowing her head. We stay like that for a bit before she stands and takes me to her bed sitting me down. "I just got you back" she whispers and I look at she sadly nodding. "We still have time. Maybe we will find a solution. Those sky people seem smart" I say and she smiles nodding.

We spend most of the day in Anya's tent just talking and I even ate some which made her happy. It's now about dinner when Indra walks into Anya's tent. "Onya, Heda wants you and Alex to join at dinner" Indra says and I scowl but say nothing and Anya nods her head. Indra nods and walks out and I sigh, "I'm not going" I say crossing my arms. "Alex, you just told me we may not have long. I know I said you didn't have to get back to where you are but at least give her a chance. At least forgive her before everything. You don't want to die with that ovr your head" she says and I sigh nodding my head. "Good, and you didn't have a choice. You are my second you need to listen to me. I'm also your mother" she says and I smile at that. Such a mom" I tease making her smile. "Come on, let's not keep our commander waiting" she says and we walk out. We meet up with Indra, Octavia and Lincoln and walk to the tower together. I stay near Anya but I can feel Octavia's eyes on me making me internally sigh but keep walking. I already forgive her, she was the one person who visited consistently when she could. She even plotted my escape. I wasn't even mad at her I was mad at myself and took it out on her. I give Anya a look and nod my head slightly towards Octavia making her nod in understanding as I slow my pace to walk in step with her and Lincoln. She looks surprised but hopeful and Lincoln seems to get the hint and walks ahead so he's with Indra and Anya. "Hey..." She says hesitantly. "I'm not mad" I say and look at her briefly before turning ahead again. "I was never mad at you. I was angry at myself. Angry at the commander. You were the one who was there. Even when I was being stubborn you kept showing up. There's nothing to forgive because you did nothing wrong" I say softly and glance at her before continuing. "I'm sorry" I say and she grabs my arm slowing us to a stop. I glance ahead to see the others walking into the tower then back at Octavia. "It's ok, I understand... Well no I don't. I know what it's like to be locked under a floor. 16 years I hid but I was never tortured or starved. I wasn't taken. I had people to love me. I can't imagine what it's like for someone you love to lock you up, and for that long. I mean Bellamy has confined me sure but only for a few days and I was still with people" she says and I nod. "I hate we have to go in there and I hate her for doing this to you" she says angry. "It's ok. I'm ok." I say and bring her into a hug. "We're ok?" She asks and I smile nodding. "We should probably go up before we get locked up for not obeying orders" I joke and she shoves me but laughs.
