Meeting and Gaurds

Hey guys! The next couple chapters are going to go through those 3 months until Azgeda makes an appearance. So hold onto the soft moments it's going to get rocky and dramatic.

POV Alex

"use your powers!" A scream rips through the air. "No" I grit out and then feel a sharp pain on my back, tears sting in my eyes but I fight to keep them in. "Hit her raw" I hear the Queen say and then so much pain. I couldn't hold it in, I let a sharp cry out and a whimper after. I was loosing blood, so much blood. My back numb mind fading. The next thing I knew was waking up on the ground covered in blood. My body ached and it hurt to move, so I stayed like that for what seemed like days. my face on the dirty cold ground, nothing to eat or drink barely moving. All I wanted to do was die. Why was this power such a curse? Why did they want it so much? How long have I been here? Is anyone looking for me? All those thoughts ran threw my mind passing the long hours. I could feel a dull aching in my head, mumblings of voices telling me to give in but I knew I couldn't. I would rather kill myself then give that bitch what she wants. I plan to do just that.

I snapped my eyes open and sucked in a breath. Once I calmed myself down I glanced around the room and was about to get up when I felt a weight on my chest. I look down and relax fully into the bed and smile. Lexa. She looks so peaceful and beautiful as the light makes her skin glow softly. I take my hand and trace it up her arm gently brushing her hair out of her face and over her shoulder. My fingers run an imaginary line along her jaw and back down her arm tracing her tattoos. My hand slips onto her back and runs down to her waist then glide along her hip bone. I sneak my hand up her shirt and run my warm hand back up her back drawing shapes along the way. I use my other hand  to play with her hair and massage her scalp gently. I hear a light hum and she buries her face into my chest more. I had found out she loves head scratches, that and when I trace patterns on her back. I find myself doing those two things subconsciously at times because I know she loves them and they relax her. And she needs to relax, she deserves to be relaxed so I like to give her that. I lean down and kiss her head making her sigh and wrap her arms tighter around my waist. "Morning heda" I whisper in her ear making her shiver. "Morning" she mumbles stretching her body slightly and then looking up at me making me smile at her. I move my hand from her head making her frown until I rub her cheek and she leans into it. "You are adorable in the mornings" I say and she grumbles something out making me smile more and kiss her nose making her scrunch it. "You missed" she says finally opening her eyes making me gasp quietly. They are vibrant green, the sun reflects off them making them so bright like leaves beginning to turn yellow. I smile and lean down capturing her soft warm lips and kissing her slowly. She kisses back immediately and we start a slow pace, lazily kissing each other. We are in no rush and just feel each others warmth as we kiss. Her body moves slightly so she's now facing me and hovering over me, but most of her weight is on top of me as I pull her down my the waist. We pull back slowly and I open my eyes to see her doing the same, a smile on both our faces. "That was better" she says softly making me chuckle. "Glad I could be of service to my commander" I tease making her slap my shoulder lightly but smiles wider. "We have to get up and get ready the meeting is soon. I also may have not told anyone I was coming in here and if my guards knock for me to be up and I'm not there..." She trails off and I nod kissing her once again. We both get up and she heads back to her room to eat and get changed while I do the same, well not eat but change. I braid my hair up and buckle by jacket then grab my quiver and make sure my arrows and bow are good to go then clip that on my shoulder. I grab my daggers and put on in my boot and the other on my thigh and straighten out my clothes before taking a breath. I can do this, I think and walk out and head to the throne room. 

I can see people entering and I slip in and stay in the back watching everyone. The Azgeda ambassador has yet to arrive since they don't stay here and Lexa had called them to the meeting. The door opens and I see Lexa walk in and everyone find a seat who needs to and the rest quiet down and bow their heads. She takes a seat and I see her scan the room almost like she's looking for someone until her eyes find mine in the corner I hide in and she sends me a very small smile. Titus leans over and whispers into her ear and she looks at the chair Azgeda is suppose to be in and scowls. Not a moment later three people walk in, what I assume is the Azgeda ambassador and two Azgeda warriors and I recognize them both making me swallow. I turn away to see Lexa eyes on me so I send her a tiny nod making her face relax slightly. "I am glad you could join us ambassador" Lexa says coldly and the warriors glare at her as the ambassador just nods. "Let's get started..." She says and I tune her out as she talks. I glance around to see Anya standing off to the side with Indra. I see Octavia is near Indra since she is her second which makes me smile that she has found her place. My gaze scans back through the room but stop on cold brown eyes staring right at me. He smirks and nudges the other warrior next to him who looks at me to with a smirk. I feel a nudge and I look next to me, "They're staring at you" Octavia whispers subtly and I nod, "I see that" I say sarcastically making her smiles a bit and roll her eyes. "Indra is watching them. Anya says you should probably leave" She says and I look at her. "I won't leave" I say and she huffs glancing at the warriors as one moves to our side and walks closer to use. I glance around to see Lexa in a listening to what is being said and Indra watching the one Azgeda warrior who is by the ambassador. I move my eyes to Anya who looks worriedly at me as she sees the warrior come closer and her hand goes to her weapon. I shake my head telling her no and he relaxes her hand but watches still. I look at the warrior who is now almost behind me but far enough away not to be noticeable. "The queen would like you home Alex" he says lowly making me clench my jaw. "I would like to kill her but we don't all get what we want" I say and I hear him growl slightly making me smirk. "I miss our daily sessions. Have nothing to do now" he says and I feel Octavia tense next to me her hand on her sword. "I wish I could say the same but you always fell short" I say smirking and I feel him step up closer to me. "I would watch your tone girl" He says lowly. "Or what?" I say no turning towards him. Octavia stand behind me her sword begging to come out making me hold a hand out. "What are you going to do?" I say stepping closer. "You know what I can do. What I enjoy to do" he says. "hmm, no. You were always too weak. You could never hit hard enough to make a mark." I say and he grabs my neck but I don't flinch. "Let her go" Octavia says and I see Anya move alerting the others. " rest a hand on Octavia's arm telling her no with my eyes. I turn back to him and smirk, bur before I could do anything the Azgeda ambassador speaks. "You have Azgeda property. She belongs to the Queen" He shouts I shove the warrior off me and he growls as he glares at us. "Enough!" Lexa shouts and every one looks at her. "Alex does not belong to the Queen or Ice Nation. She was born Trikru and taken by Azgeda. You will not touch her" she says sternly and I smirk at the warrior making him lunge at me but I'm quicker and pull my dagger out against his neck. "I invited you here to keep our peace not start a war" Lexa says and he laughs. "We don't want peace, not unless you hand over the girl" he says and the other ambassadors start to argue about giving me to them as I am one of them. "Seems like your mine again" He mumbles and I shove my dagger in his throat. The choking of blood makes every one stop and  I watch him hit the ground wiping my dagger on my pants and turning around facing the ambassador and other warrior. "If the Queen wants me, she'll have to come and get me and even if she does she'll have to kill me because I will not go back without a fight." I say sternly walking up slowly to them, Octavia behind me. "Why not Alex? I miss you and our daily sessions. I loved the ones when you screamed" The warrior smirks and I glare at him and lunge forward only for Octavia to grab my arm. I jerk away from her looking at her hurt that she thinks he deserves to live. "Enough! Alex is under my protection." Lexa says walking off her throne Indra and Anya beside her weapons ready to come out. The warrior doesn't even spare them a glance as his eyes are on me. "Come on Alex. How about those secret sessions? I know you liked those" He said coming closer to me making me tense. "Don't go near her" Lexa says stepping forward and Indra's sword comes to his neck, but her just smirks. "We made you this monster Alex. Do you think once they find out what you have done, who you have killed they will keep you here? No, they will cast you out! They are trying to right now! They don't want you Alex, come home" He says moving closer letting Indra's sword draw some blood from his neck. I glance around at all the people, they did want me gone. Hell Lexa spent so long just to get them to agree. My own village wants me dead for something I didn't do. I am a monster. I might as well live with monsters. "We know you have been using your powers. You won't be in a cell. You will be the queen's weapon the conquer for her. You will be unstoppable." He says and Lexa and Anya step closer Anya pulling her sword out but he ignores it looking at me. From the Ashes you will Rise, I will not rise from those types of Ashes. I think and walk closer to him pushing Indra's sword away. "Alex, no" I hear Lexa say but I ignore it, and he smiles smugly. "Ok" I say and I hear a couple gasps and she shocked faces of those I love, but I ignore it and put my blank face on. he holds his hand out and in a quick motion I grab a arrow from my quiver and stab his chest. I hear some gasps around me as he chokes out blood. We both sink to the floor and shove the arrow through him making the life leave his eyes. I take the arrow out and stand slowly ignoring every one around me, my face hard and expressionless. I turn to the ambassador and walk up to him making him step back but I grab him. "Tell the Queen if she wants death then come and get it" I say shoving him back making him stumble to the ground looking scared as I glare at him. I take my bow out and notch the bloodied arrow firing it through his shoulder then walking closer to him. "GO" I growl and I can feel fire starting to glow around me and by his face. He stands up and scrambles out the room running. The room is dead quiet and I turn around seeing fear in many faces as the glow is still around be. I find Lexa's worried but calming green eyes and I take a breath calming myself and diming the glow until I'm normal again. No one speaks, no one dare moves in fear of setting me off or something. "I call on the 12 armies. Azgeda will come and we will be ready" Lexa says and every one starts to murmur and leave the throne room quickly. I stay stood emotionalist in the middle of the room not making eye contact only holding my bow tightly in my hand. 

"Alex" I hear and I snap my head up to see Lexa, Anya, Indra, Octavia and for some reason Titus stood in the room leaving a good distance between us. Lexa moves closer but Titus is having none of that, "Heda, No. She is dangerous and cannot be trusted" He says harshly making her glare at him. "leave us Titus" she says and he gives her a look like she's crazy but eventually moves to leave, "Love is weakness. Remember your teachings" he says and walks out. Lexa's face morphs into anger and confusion. "Indra Octavia I need you to form a scout team to monitor our boarders. I want to know when and where Azgeda is at all times" she says and they both nod leaving. Octavia tries to reach out for me but I move not wanting anything from her at the moment. Her face morphs into sadness and she walks out like I just broke her heart. I keep my resolve though and keep my face blank and stare ahead. Now just Anya and Lexa remain and I know they are looking at me worriedly but I don't budge. "Alex..." Lexa says and I finally look at her. "You should listen to your counsel commander. You don't have to worry about me I can take care of myself" I say and look away from her again. "I know you can take care of yourself I have seen when you take care of yourself." She says harshly almost making me flinch but I don't and turn back to her quirking my brow challenging her. I can see she regrets that she snapped because her face softens but I don't. "I won't let you be taken or worse. I won't let the Queen take you again. I can't do that.." her breath hitches at the end almost making me give in but I don't. "Alex we just want to help, let us help" Anya says and I scoff. "I don't need your help. I have done fine on my own. I have seen what your help looks like and seeing your obviously don't approve of mine..." I say trailing off looking at them both. They both looked a little shocked and hurt but they recover quickly. "If you won't let us help then you won't have a choice" Lexa says and I look at her in disbelief and laugh a little. "You'll have to lock me up" I say and Anya looks at Lexa. "Gaurds" she calls and I work my jaw. "Lexa, what are you doing?" Anya says but is ignored. "Take her to a cell." She says and they grab my arms but I shove them off. "you don't want to do this" I say lowly but she doesn't budge. They grab me again and I hit the one in the face and more rush in. They grab weapons taking them as I try to fight. One punches me hard a few times in the gut and the other punches me a couple times in the face. "Heda!" Anya yells but nothing. I can see her eyes hold so many emotions but she does nothing and Anya looks like she's about to fight so I shake my head no. "Stop fighting, please... I don't want you to get hurt" Lexa pleads making me glare at her. I could use my powers but what's the use, so I give up and let them drag me out but before they can I turn my head. "You want to protect me from the Queen? You're just like her" I say disappointed and they take me out.

Oof... Well that escalated. And they just got together
