POV Alex

"Ok that should do it, Alex" Abby says as she finishes placing the bandage on my back on. "Thank you, Dr. Griffin" I say with a smile, making her wave me off. "I should be thanking you. You have us a chance, so thank you Alex" she says squeezing my hand then getting up to clean up. "You should be back to yourself in a few weeks. Take it easy, ok?" Clarke says eyeing me and then looking at Lexa. "I will make sure she does" she says determined making me huff but smile softly at her. "Good. We are going to make sure the medical wing is stocked in the bunker" she says and her and Abby walk out of Lexa's room leaving us alone. "I told you I would be fine, hodnes" I say smirking making her roll her eyes fondly at me. "Yes, yes you did." She says leaning down to kiss my lips making me hum against hers. "What do we need to do to prepare?" I ask once she pulls away. "No, no you will be resting not helping. Let the others do the work you did enough" she says sternly making me sigh but nod. "Yes Heda" I say with a sad face making her laugh and kiss me again till I smile. "Good. Now everyone is doing what needs to be done. Everyone has picked their people and the rest are either going back home or doing whatever they would like." She says making me nod to show I'm listening. "We will start a few clans at a time after all the checks from Skaikru have been set. We should be in the bunker by the end of the week which is on schedule for the rate of the radiation" she says, and I can't help but tune her out and just stare at her. She is so cute when she is in commander mode or more like hot. She likes structure and order to things so her little guidelines are just adorable, and I love seeing her face all determined and confident. She is pacing a bit but not out of nerves, but purpose and her arms are folded behind her back. Really, it's a hot and adorable sight that makes me fall in love with her all over again and makes me want to take her on this bed all at once. "Hodnes? Are you listening to me?" She asks hands on her hips snapping me out of my daydream. "Yes, Lex, I'm listening" I say smiling and standing up to wrap my arms around her waist. She huffs a bit but smiles back looking lovingly at me. "You were not" she says smiling making me shrug. She laughs a bit and kisses me gently making me melt into her. "You just looked so adorable and hot at the same time" I whisper against her lips making her breath hitch and cheeks redden. "I'm not adorable" she grumbles making me laugh and caress her cheeks. "Adorable raccoon" I say smiling and she huffs. "I don't understand why you think I look like one" she says pouting. "Your kaul makes you look like one, hodnes. But it's sexy don't worry" I husk out making her blush again and smile at me. I lean in kissing her gently before pulling back. "So, what are we to do?" I say lifting an eyebrow. "Relax for once. Maybe cuddle. You are still healing ai hodnes" she says making me nod and kiss her nose. "Ok" I say and she leads me to the bed and helps me in since I'm still in pain and sore. "Get some rest, we are a big few days ahead" she says kissing my forehead.

The next few days are hectic, and I am in less pain than before. There's definitely soreness and some discomfort but nothing I can't handle. There had been more signs of radiation and the people who were chosen have been settling in nicely as can be expected. At the moment just Skaikru seems to be having issues in choosing because of this dude Jaja. Since Lexa is with Clarke up above dealing with some issue of them needing to get someone, I am left to deal with this, at least Octavia and Indra are by my side. "Enough!" I yell totally done with the arguing. "This is hard for everyone. Not just Skaikru! Everyone else has chosen, now I suggest you pull your heads out of your asses and choose your people or I will forcefully remove all Skaikru besides a select few already having slots." I growl out making everyone fearful. "You have till the end of the day. If you have not chosen I will let the others lose on Skaikru" I say and burst out making people part a path for me as Octavia and Indra follow. "You scared the shit out of them" Octavia laughs as we walk into the meeting room set up for us. "Good, they are pissing me off" I growl gripping my sword. "You are doing well, Alex." Indra says patting my shoulder making me breath out a breath to relax a bit. "Thanks. Hopefully once we settle Lexa can bring some order. She has done it once" I joke out. "Yes, maybe but they respect you too Alex. You fought for them they respect you too" Indra says making me sigh. "I'm no leader Indra." I say and she walks up to me grabbing my shoulders gently but firm. "You are now" she says and walks out leaving Octavia and I. "want to be my second?" I joke making her laugh. "I'm already Indra's. I don't want to get on her bed side" she jokes making me laugh with her. "No, I suppose not. Well, let's get to work we only have a day or two at most before the door shuts." I say and we walk out.
