POV Alex

It's been a few days and Lexa and I have spent most of that time together when we can. Lexa has been in meetings regarding Azgeda and what the Queen could be planning. It had taken some convincing, but Lexa eventually got on board with the plan. All she and Clarke needed to do was distract her by indulging her and I needed to find a friend. "Are you sure, Alex" Lexa whispered Golding my face in her hands. I was all packed and ready to leave. My horse saddled and waiting. "Lex, I'll be ok. It should only take a day or two. I know where to find Roan." I say holding her hips. Our foreheads meet and a soft smile graces my lips. "You're scouts say the Queen is on her way. I'll be back before she gets here." I say kissing her softly. "She's going to question you and if I'm right make you and Roan fight. But we want that, while she's distracted Echo and I can get to Ontari." I say and she nods. "I know... I'm sorry I'm just worried." She says looking at me making me smile and nod kissing her again. "I'll be fast my love. Don't miss me too much" I tease making her push me lightly towards my horse. I smile and hop on sending her a kiss before riding out into the night. It doesn't take long for me to get where I'm heading. I hop of my horse and tie him up taking out my dagger just in case. I walk up to the cave entrance and see a soft glow coming from inside. I slowly walk in seeing a figure sitting "Figured you would come" he says making me smile. "Well, your mom's a bitch" I say making him chuckle and stand up. "It's good to see you Alex" he says walking over to me and hugs me. "You too" I whisper hugging him back. "How's to banishment?" I ask letting go making him sigh. "I just want to go back home" he says, and I nod. "What if I tell you the commander has offered to help you go home." I say making him tilt his head in confusion. "How? Lexa hates Azgeda" he says scuffing. "She hates the Queen. We want to make you the king... take her out" I say, and he signs scratches his beard. "That is risky Al... But I'm assuming you have a play?" He asks making me smirk and nod. "I need to talk to Echo but I needed you on board before they arrived at Polis. You and Lexa need to indulge in Nia's games while Echo and I take out Ontari." I say and he sighs. "I don't trust Lexa...But I trust you and Echo" he says, making me smile and pat his shoulder. "They will be there just after sunrise. If we want to beat them, we need to leave soon" I say, and he nods. "Tell me the rest? What exactly will happen" he asks. "All you need to know is we are killing both Nia and Ontari. You will be King and there is something coming that will need us to work together in order to survive." I say, and he nods. "Ok, like I said I trust you. But they won't let the prince of Azgeda waltz into Polis" he says, and I smile. "You're right..." I smirk making his face drop. "Shit" he sighs making me laugh and tossing him a rope. 

Just before sunrise we reach the outskirts of Polis. "Here, tie up" I say to him making him sigh and tie his hands tossing me the rest to pull him. A few minutes later shouting at the gate sounds and the door opens. A few warriors walk out, and one calls out saying Azgeda and to tell Heda. "Alex" he says, and I nod. "I got him, put my horse away" I say jumping off and he nods. I tug lightly on and lead him to the tower. On the way we get snide remarks and people spitting on Roan as we walk. "Hurry" I whisper, and he nods as we walk faster finally getting into the tower but not without things getting thrown at us. "Shit" I whisper lifting my arm. "You, ok?" He asks. "Fine" I say and tug him into the elevator. Once up the guards open the door to the throne room where Lexa, Clarke, Octavia, Indra and Anya stand waiting. "Alex" Roan whispers stopping me making the guard shove him off me. "Hey, back off" I snarl making him step back and leave the room. "What?" I ask lowly glancing at the women in the room briefly. "Are you sure we can trust them?" He asks and I nod. "I trust them... They are my family" I whisper making him eye them. "Hey" I say untying him making him look at me. "So are you and Echo" I say making him nod. I smile and pat his face. "Don't touch my face" he says with faux annoyance making me smirk and walk backwards further into the room facing him. "Oooh, I'm so scared" I say smirking making him smile lightly and roll his eyes. He walks up to me, and I turn around facing the rest. "Prince Roan of Azgeda" Lexa says. "Lexa" He states making Indra pull her sword. "Commander to you" she says making me sigh. "Ok, ok. Enough. He is here to help, and Nia will be here soon." I say making Indra loser her sword but keep it out. "Can we trust him?" Clarke asks. "You can trust me" I say looking at all of them landing on Lexa. She nods her head making me smile lightly. "He is willing to help. All you have to do is keep him hidden and when things start to get tense bring him in. Then Nia will do the rest. I know her, He knows her. Just don't kill each other" I say, and they nod. "Put him in the back room, Octavia watch him. Indra and Clarke stay with me. Anya tell the ambassadors we will be meeting." Lexa says and everyone nods and goes. Anya pats my shoulder on the way out and I hand Roan off to Octavia nodding to them both. "Indra watch for Azgeda's arrival and bring them here when they come." She says making Indra nod and leave. "I'm going to inform my people" Clarke says and heads out leaving just Lexa and I. Sighing I look at Lexa with a soft smile which she returns walking over to me. "Hi" she whispers hugging me. I wrap my arms around her but since slightly at the gash in my arm. "What's wrong?' Lexa asks pulling back to scan over my body. She stops and reaches for my arm gently. "What happened, hodnes?" She asks worriedly as she gently rips my sleeve to expose more of my skin. "The crowds got a bit roudy with the prince being here. Got caught in some cross fire, those damn pots" I mumbles jokingly making her giggle. My smile widens at the noise and I lift the arm she isn't holding to her face making her look at me. "Ai hod yu in, Leksa" I say making her smile and lean in to kiss me gently. "Ai hod yu in, Alex" she whispers kissing my lips again before moving to to sit to the table. I watch as she gathers some supplies to clean and wrap my wound.
