POV Alex

I woke up with a jolt I glance around seeing I was laying on a bed of furs then I remember where I was. I look to the side and see Lexa curled up into my side sleeping peacefully. I smiled at the site taking a breath and relaxing my body. I laid staring at the ceiling for some time until my mind became too loud and I slowly got up not to wake up Lexa. The sun was barely up telling me it was early. I grabbed my clothes and changed leaving her tent. I found myself at the small training pit and walked up to the weapon rack. My hands grazed over the options and I oddly missed using the different types but I fell in love with the bow, well and daggers. I don't know maybe just having to clear your mind while using the bow made it easier for me since I have been having to do that all my life. I pick up the bow and grab a quiver slinging it over my shoulder. In one quick motion I notched an arrow and shot it at the target quiet far away. I smirk when I looked at saw it was a bullseye. I walked a bit closer and notched another arrow but this time I sent a flame down to the arrow head and shot it a small blast shot out when it slip the arrow I shot before in half. "Ok... No that you have to teach me" Octavia says standing next to me. I laugh looking at her. "How did you get out? Shouldn't you be resting?" She asks quirking a brow. I raise mine and she laughs. "Right. Do that again" she says and I smile. Before I can a group of Trikru come up and I roll my eyes. "Look she even uses Azgeda techniques" one spits and I sigh. "It's like Azgeda is the only one that uses bows" I say rolling my eyes making Octavia laugh. They walk up to us and I hold my bow a little tighter at my side. "What can't use a sword?" He asks and I smirk. "if I did you would be dead" I say plainly and he growls. "I don't think so. You are just a girl" he says and Octavia scuffs. "One that wi beat your ass" she says stepping up to him but I hold her back. "It's alright. He wants to die so bad I won't stand in his way" I say and he glares at me unsheathing his sword. "Pick up the sword" he growls and before I can Octavia hands me her sword. I look at her and she nods making me nod in return. The group step off the the side and by now more people are forming a circle, God this is like deja Vu. I roll my eyes and stand bored waiting for him to make a move. I don't wait long because he lunges forward and I step aside making his sword hit the ground. He growls and goes for me again. This time I swat his sword away and spin around so in facing his back. He swings around pissed now. He starts swinging heavily at me with me just dodging or blocking. After a minute of this I'm getting annoyed so with one swift motion I duck, slide and kick his feet out then spring over him my knee on his sword and my own speed on his neck. "Are you done?" I ask pressing a little drawing blood making him hiss. He nods and I get up walking over to Octavia and handing her, her sword back. "That was awesome" Octavia says following me out of the circle but once again before we can get anywhere I push Octavia to the floor and a spear pierces my shoulder. I grit my teeth not making a sound and pull out the spear spinning it around in my hand. I glance at Octavia and she looks shocked but stands up. I look ahead and see the guy I just beat standing there. In a quick movement the spear is out of my hand and in his skull. I stalk towards his group pulling out two daggers I stashed before shooting arrows. They ran at me and I killed the fist two easily blood splattering everywhere. I was back in Azgeda and I had to win. I dodged a swing and threw one dagger in the head of the guy on my right. I spun around and stabbed another's neck watching him gag. I pulled the knife out and turned around to the last one. I picked up my dagger that was in one of their heads so I had both and kicked him down. Without thinking I nelt and slit his throat. I felt a presents behind me so I kicked my foot out knocking them down and getting into of them. I was met with Octavia's blue fearful eyes. I froze and got off her breathing heavily. I glanced around at all the bodies and my hands began to shake. "Nonono what did I do" I whisper. Octavia sat up and nelt in front of me. "Hey, hey it's ok. You're ok." She says but I shake my head and stand. She stands up looking at me worriedly. "she was right" I mume and Octavia looks at me confused but I ignore it. "What happened?" I hear Indra say rushing over. She looks at me but I just stare blankly. "They attacked her. She was just defending herself Indra" Octavia says. "Alex..." I space out not hearing her but seeing her lips move. It feels as if I'm underwater. I see movement around as people start to leave and I see Anya and Lexa rushing over. They start talking but I don't hear them. I glance around at the bodies again knowing what comes next. "Where do you want me?" I ask and they all stop talking and look at me confused. I glance between them seeing Clarke has joined probably because my shoulder but that doesn't matter now. "What?" Lexa asks "no powers means I get whipped. Where would you like to do so?" I ask monotoned and they all look shocked and horror written on their faces but I don't know why. "Would you like for me to do it myself?" I ask and again they say nothing. I glance to the side and see a wooden stick, so I bend down and grab it. Before I can do anything Lexa grabs my wrist her eyes hiding so much sadness. Maybe because she doesn't want to? But that is what I get... Right? I hand her and stick and turn around getting on my knees. I wait but nothing comes instead Anya knet in front of me. "We aren't going to hurt you Alex. Come on stand up, let's get your shoulder looked at" she says standing me up. I look at the confused but allow them to lead me to Nyko's tent.
