Spiderman webbed mike up the tree and the two sat on the branch, legs swinging. Mike rested his head on spidermans shoulder.

Will wished they could stay in this moment forever. But he knew eventually life would kick him in the nuts.

"Spidey?" Mike said.

Will hummed in response.

"Do you think Will would ever like me back?" He asked, his eyes filled with sorrow.

Spiderman smiled under his mask.

"When i first met will on that rooftop, the first thing he asked, was if i would spend your birthday with you. He then continued to tell me everything about you mike. The boy is in love with you. But if you play chicken so will he. You have to confess to him.".

Mike smiled. He didnt say anything, but he nodded his head.

Omg omg omg spiderman thought. This isnt really happening but it is!

"Hey Mike?" Spidey said.

"Yea whats up?" Mike responded.

"I have this feeling, is your other crush... me?" Spiderman hesitated.

Mike looked down, but nodded his head. Twiddling his thumbs anxiously.

"I know you wouldnt feel the same though. I mean, your.. you and im just me.." mike said

"Mike you are you, and thats what makes you amazing, but-"

Mike sighed. "I know, you dont feel the same."

"I was going to say, its safer for us to just be friends. Of course i have a small crush on you. And you a small crush on me. But deep down we both know youre more in love with Will more than anyone could possibly imagine. After all, you grew up together didnt you?" Spidey finished.

Mike smiled and held Spidermans hand. "Youre right spidey. Thank you. I should talk to will. Even though hes not going to be home for a while."

"If you want i can drop you off at his place!" Spidey said.

Just then spideys comminication device beeped.

"Spiderman. For some unkown reason, Fury wants to talk to you. Also so do I, i need to know how the hell you can just hang up on that dude!"

Spiderman sighed. "Okay hawkeye, sorry mike. Ive already pissed off fury twice today."

"Its okay spidey its the S.H.I.E.L.D director. I'll manage." Mike said.

"Wait your with mike? Oh for fucks sake. Look. Talk to fury tommorow. Just. Ill message it to you." Clint said.

Keep mike safe. News just published something about him being one of your main reporters, we dont want goblin after him. Peace out.

"Change of plans, im dropping you off. And im not taking no for an answer."

Mike didnt even have the time to say anything before the two were swining their way around town.

The two arrived at Wills and Mike gave spiderman a hug goodbye. Just then he heard a crash.

"Oh BLOODY. HELL." Will screamed.
"Mike go inside, ill deal with this fucker."

Mike nodded and ran inside.

"OI, RHINO. I KNOW ITS YOU DUDE. CAN WE GET THIS OVER WITH?"

"Is it.. is it rhino. Or is it worse than rhino?" Rhino said, followed by dock ock and green goblin.
