"no... no. it cant be you." will said, standing up in shock. 

"but it is!" lonnie laughed. "and oh what a pleasure it is to know that i was right! that you! my only child! is spiderman!" 

lonnie stepped forward. but will stepped back. tears filled his eyes. not out of sadness. but out of fear and anger. 

"oh" lonnie smiled. "i see.. dont be afraid of your father!" 

"you will NEVER. be my father. EVER." will said. his voice trembling with fear and rage.

mike suddenly coughed up blood and wills attention snapped back to his brutally injured lover. he knelt down by the chair and held his hands softly. 

"hey hey, its gonna be okay.. just keep your eyes open and i promise ill get you the help you need." 

lonnie rolled his eyes. "so, my son turned out queer, thats what you get for living with that horrible family for most your life."

will snapped back. "they are more than a family then you EVER were. you done nothing for me. or my mother." 

lonnies eyes brightened. "speaking of your mother, otto! bring her in." 

just then doctor octavius dragged in a woman with dark curls and warm eyes. sure, her face was battered and bloody, and she looked drained and pale, but will would recognise those eyes anywhere, they were his eyes. "mom.. mom what did he do to you!" will cried as he ran over to his mother and gave her an embrace that nothing could ever compare to. 

joyce cried softly while hugging her son tenderly. "my darling baby, youve grown up to be so much more perfect then i could ever fathom.." she cupped his face as he cried and wept and sobbed. 

however, this tender moment ended as a gun was now held to her head. as will turned to face lonnie he saw that a gun was also held to mikes head. 

"good distraction right?" lonnie smiled. "if i do say so myself." 

will saw red. "put. the guns. down." 

"ah ah ah.." lonnie said. "you take one step closer and both of their brains get blasted. you have a choice here."

"im not picking one to live and one to die." 

"no no! they can both live. if you do something for me.." 

"what."

lonnie smiled. "well, all i need you to do. is merge, with venom. and work with me! think about it, we could rule the world!"

wills eyes widened. His mind started to race. as he remembered what happened the last time he merged with venom. 

"m..merge.." he stared to hyperventilate "n..no, p-please! i'll do ANYTHING! just.. im begging you.. dont make me merge!" his eyes swelled up with tears as he thought back to that day. 

lonnie laughed. it was cold and brutal.. "all this trauma and the girl doesnt even remember!" he lowered the gun. "scared you might do it again?..." 

will dropped onto his knees. and begged. "i cant! i cant risk it! not after what happened to shuri! not after.." he started to cry . 

"will.." mike whispered, his face becoming more and more pale. 

will couldnt take it anymore. "Fine! Fine! ill do it!" 

lonnie smiled

"but, you have to let me help mike first. otto, i know you have a serum to help... please..."

otto rolled his eyes and out of his suit he retrieved a flask with electric blue liquid in it. will grabbed it and poured it down mikes throat. Almost instantly mikes eyes grew brighter. 

"mike! mike!" will said happily,

"will..? will please dont do this!"

will held mikes cheek. "its gonna be ok.. ill be back before you know it." 

he gave mike a soft kiss on the lips, before walking over to him mum, handing her something discreetly and whispered something in her ear. to which her response was a nod and a kiss on wills forehead. 

"ok, now let them go." 

lonnie rolled his eyes. "a deal is a deal, and im a man of my word. but first. merge."

will sighed. he thought back to the past. but with every step he knew he was making the best decision. as he was centimetres away, the symbiote began the bond. 

lonnie smiled as the last part of will was concealed by black goo. 

mikes eyes finally released the stream he was holding. 

just then joyce elbowed otto and grabbed the gun, loading it with the bullets will snuck her.

and then two shots were fired.

When mike opened his eyes seconds after, he let out a spine chilling scream. 

"NO!" he sobbed

as he saw wills body, covered in goo, laying lifeless on the floor.
