BREAKING NEWS: THE HERO KNOWN AS SPIDERMAN HAS BEEN SEEN FIGHTING A VILLAIN. ALL REPORTERS ARE ON THE SCENE.

"HAHAAHAHAH SPIDER MAN. YOU WILL NEVER STOP ME! THIS CITY SHALL KNOW THE TRUE MEANING OF FEAR!"

" Woah woah woah, calm down gobby! They already know the true meaning of fear, your bad breath is very traumatic you know?" Spiderman said hanging upside down from a lamp post.

Green goblin frowned "IM GOING TO SQUASH YOU LIKE THE INSECT YOU ARE! YOU WILL FAIL AT SAVING YOUR PRECIOUS HOME."

Spider man webbed goblins hoverboard and pulled it out from underneath him. Goblin plummeted towards the ground.

"Ooooh, thats gotta hurt, you know if you were the green gargoyle you coulda flown outta that mess"

From the ground reporters took photos and recorded the fight. One particular reporter stood out. Mike.

Spiderman saw him and completley lost focus, allowing green goblin to strike. Spiderman fell to the ground and landed with a thud.

"Owww! No fair.!" He said webbing gobins face. He spun goblin around and tied him to a post with his webs.

"And thats how its done!" He said.

Cheers came from the crowd below and mike rushed to the front with his camera. Spiderman saw this and walked up to him.

"Spiderman!" Mike said. "Hi! Uhm im mike wheeler-"

"So your mike? The one that guy will was talking about?" Spiderman smirked under the mask.

"Yeah! Thats me! I was just wondering as tommorow is my-"

"Birthday? Yup will told me. And dont worry. As long as crime isnt happening, you have got me all to yourself! Will told me you are my biggest fan" Spiderman laughed.

"Oh he did, did he? Im gonna kill him"

"Dont worry about it dude, always love to meet a fan. I gotta go though before i get trampled by reporters- see ya later wheeler!" He said as he swung away.

Mike was paralysed with joy. He thought to himself. I JUST SPOKE TO SPIDERMAN. HE CALLED ME DUDE. Wait, I GET TO SEE HIM AGAIN TOMORROW AGHHHHHHH.

Will was sitting in a flower garden enjoying his day off. After that fight with green goblin he needed the rest. He felt like an idiot for being distracted by his crush on mike. But at least mike didnt get hurt, that was all that mattered to will. He didnt want to see anything bad happen to the love of his life. Will was lying with his eyes closed in a field of marigolds. He was enjoying the peace and quiet until...

"I knew i would find you here!"

Oh good god.

"Hey mike whats up?" Will said. Not even opening his eyes.

"So so so much will please sit up i need your full attention!" Mike was talking really fast.

Will laughed and sat up. "What happened?"

"Well first of all Spide-" mike stopped.

"Whats the matter mike?" Will asked.

Mike brought his hand up to the side of wills head and stroked it slightly, making will wince in pain.

"Oh my god im so sorry i didnt mean to hurt you! But, what happened to your face, that looks very recent.."

Shit. The injury from when he lost focus and got hit by the green goblin. How was he gonna get out of this one?

"I wasnt paying attention to where i was going, tripped and fell into a tree. Im fine"

Mike sighed. "Will you have to take better care of yourself."

Will smiled. "Im fine mike, what were you saying about spiderman?"

Mike shook his head. He stood up and pulled will up with him.

"I will tell you later. Right now you getting bandaged up is my top priority. You could have a concussion for all we know! Come on, im taking you to your house."

Will nodded his head. He knew not to protest. There was no changing mikes mind. Even though it would take a lot more that a hit from green goblin to give will a concussion.

The two walked back to wills house.

Will unlocked the door, "Aunt mays on the trip im going to visit her tommorow remember?"

" i remember," mike said. "Sit down though, standing could make you dizzy."

Will sat down and looked at his phone. He had some unread texts.

Max, el and wills group chat:

saw you with mike in the flower fields. I sense some homosexual shit happening.

El:
me too. You sure you aint dating? Sure as hell seems like it.

Will:

Max:

"Okay ive got the bandages" mike said

Will smiled as mike entered the room.
Mike sat infront of will and started patching up his face.

"Are you going to tell me what happened with your idol?"

"Hmm? Oh yea! I actually had a conversation with him!" Mike gawked. "Hes so charming and charismatic! I cant belive i get to spend the day with him!!"

Will giggled. "Damn you fell hard didnt ya? Maybe spiderman feels the same!"

"Will he could be a grown ass man! Im allowed to crush on him but hes not allowed to crush on me until i know his age!" Mike said

" i know his age."

"How?!"

"I just ask the right questions:

"Well how old is he?"

"Thats for me to know and you to find out."

Mike rolled his eyes. Will smiled. Then yawned. Fighting green goblin had really taken a toll on his day off.

"Will! Are you dizzy?" Mike panicked.

"No no just a little sleepy.." will replied.

"Well get some rest, dont die on me byers!"

Will smiled and hugged mike tightly. He loved the feeling that it gave him.

"Will, if you wany me to cuddle you to sleep you can just ask- oh..."

Mike paused as he saw a fast asleep will resting on his shoulder. Mike positioned them both in a way where will was laying on top of him, head in his chest. Mike stroked wills hair and planted a kiss on wills forhead. Mike knew that physical affection was his best friends way of showing how much he means to him. Mike wasnt bothered by it. But it plagued him with a moral dilemma. He was in love with 2 people, a hero, and a reporter. And he couldnt decide who he loved more.
