Spooky month- Kevin x insomniac reader fluff/comfort

Kevin opens the door extremely quietly, he had just off work from his second job. It was around 2 in the morning, which meant (Y/n) was sleeping.

He shuts the door quietly behind him and takes off his shoes.

"Morning Kevin." He jumps accidentally throwing his shoe into the wall.

(Y/n) snickers, from her view on the couch.
"(Y/n)?" Kevin asks a little pink starring at her.
"Why are you up?"

The light from the tv made her look like a goddess even if she looked like she was exhausted.

(Y/n) huffs "Can't sleep."
Kevin sets his shoes neatly into its cubby and sits next to her on the couch.
"Is it your insomnia?"

(Y/n) grabs him and pulls him into a hug, he ends up laying on her. He struggles trying not to push his entire body weight onto her.
"Yeah."

"Sweetheart, I thought you were taking your medication."

"I am, sometimes it doesn't work" She sighs and holds onto him tighter.

"I'm very tired." She mumbles.
Kevin hugs her, and kisses both her cheeks following with her nose and forehead.

"Is there anything I can do to help you (Y/n), I love you so much."

"I love you too Kevin but... while I'm thankful you ask that, it does provide comfort but sometimes nothing just works." She answers a little annoyed at her own body.

"You should go to bed though, you need it Kev."

"Hush." He smiles softly and pecks her lips.
"I'll do everything in my power to help you sleep or at least relax, where should I start?" (Y/n) nuzzles her face into his chest, she really had gotten lucky.

"Your the best and the most sweetest guy I have ever met." He chuckles.

"Damn then you've been with some terrible people, because helping your lover is common decency."

She sticks her rounds out at him playfully.
"Some tea sounds nice, and cuddling too." He smiles and kisses her gently, before getting up.
"Coming right up anything else sweetheart?"She shakes her head, when Kevin stands up and goes into the kitchen she follows.

Kevin chuckles as she sits on the counter watching him.

Kevin fills a mug with water and puts it into the microwave. He smiles and picks up his girlfriend holding her, she rests her head on his shoulder.

"Your very cute when your tired." He grins rubbing her back, she huffs.

The microwave began to beep, Kevin set (Y/n) much to a lot of protests. He opens a tea package and puts the tea bag into the hot water.

"Come on (Y/n) let's go to the bedroom." He holds the cup of tea in one had and his girlfriends hand in the other. He leads her into their shared bedroom and lays her in the bed.

Once he's sure she's conscious enough to not spill it he hands it to her. While she quietly sips on the tea, he changes into his Pj's and gets into bed with her. She hands the half empty cup to Kevin, who takes a small sip then sets it on the nightstand.

"I love you Kev." He smiles and wraps his arms around her, tangling their legs together.

"I love you too (Y/n), now try to get some rest now my sweetheart." He kisses the top of her head.

As he dozes off into a deep sleep himself, however (Y/n) stays awake. She was still having trouble sleeping but at least this was much better than dealing with it alone.

She closes her eyes listening to Kevin's heartbeat.
