Undertale Error x Nightmare

I believe that there are no trigger warnings but please let me know if I am wrong so I can fix it.

Error slams the fridge closed, annoyed by the lack of his favorite chocolate.

He leaves the kitchen stomping getting looks from all the residents. Error didn't have a care in the entire multiverse.

He storms into Nightmare and his bedroom, it was big and empty. The king of negativity was nowhere in sight, on one hand, Error was happy he didn't want to deal with anyone right now. On the other hand, he wanted nothing more than to curl up next to Nightmare and have his boyfriend hold him.

Error throws himself on the giant and comfortable bed, he curls up into a ball. His anger was starting to die down leaving a feeling of sadness, he hated it.

Error isn't sure how long he laid there trying not to cry, but he knew it was long enough for the others to tell Nightmare about his negative mood.

"Error." Nightmare states sitting on the bed beside him.

Error only groaned, trying to seem annoyed so perhaps he would leave. Though he both knew how he was truly feeling.

"Do you want to talk about it?"
"I'm fine," He huffs. "Go away."

Nightmare is quiet for a moment, he was not hurt by Error's tone or words. He was more than aware that Error was trying to push him away to "protect" himself. Though what Error failed to realize is that he no longer had to do that.

"Do you truly want me to leave?"

Error took a while to answer, so much so Nightmare was ready to leave. Error eventually shook his head, there was a soft sniffle accompanying it.

"What do you need my love?" Nightmare asked him softly.

Error sat up and threw his arms around his husband and started to cry. He ignored the burning feeling of his haphephobia, it hurt but he needed Nightmare.

Nightmare didn't touch him back, sensing his pain. Once Error's body adjusted Nightmare was careful and gently rubbed the other's back.

"I'm sorry." Error sobs into the other's jacket.
"My love you have no reason to apologize." Nightmare was quick to answer.

"...but I tried to push you away again..."
Nightmare sighs. He leans back bringing Error to lay on him. The cuddling position might comfort the other more.

"You are scared. You never had anyone to comfort you so you are scared and don't trust it. You are adjusting, recovery is slow- there is nothing wrong with that. My love take the time you need to heal and do not be sorry for it." Error clings to him, his words felt too kind. Error cries into the others jacket again, telling the other he was too kind.

"I am not, this is basic decency. I am so sorry that you have been taught otherwise."
Nightmare and Error stayed cuddled up against each other until Error had calmed down.

He explained his day and why he had been so upset, Nightmare obviously comforted him. He had decided to take the rest of the day off and watch movies all night with his love.

Nightmare got him his favorite chocolate and put in his favorite show and the other seemed to be feeling much better.

"Thank you for...this." Error flushes.
"There's no need to thank me." Nightmare says kissing the top of his skull.

"I love you Error." Error hides his face in the other's chest.

"I-I love you too." Nightmare chuckles at the flustered and muffled words.
