Spooky month Radford x Kevin Sickfic

Radford groans as he's woken up by the sound of a coughing fit. He rubs his eyes tiredly and looks over at his alarm clock it was only five in the morning.

He frowns and pushes himself up in his bed. It's only quiet for a moment before the coughing starts again. Kevin didn't tell him that he was sick. Radford kicks his legs over the edge.

He lets out a yawn, before standing up and making his way out of his bedroom. It's way too early to be up at least for him. Kevin was most likely getting ready for work, and Radford has to stop him before he leaves.

Radford makes his way toward the bathroom. He knocks on the door before pushing it open.

"Good morning, Kev." Kevin jumped a little.

"Morning Rad," Kevin replies, his voice hoarse.

"How you feeling?" Radford asked turning his boyfriend to face him. He sets the back of his hand on Kevin's forehead. It was hot, and most definitely a fever.

"Fine." He said with a mouthful of toothpaste. He pulls himself away from Radford so he could spit it into the sink.

"You know you have to take care of yourself, Kevin," Radford said surprisingly sternly.

Radford only ever used that tone with his siblings when they were sick. It made Kevin feel like a child.

"I am taking care of myself, Radford," Kevin rolls his eyes. He sighs as he looks up at Radford.

"It's just... I have to work." Kevin wipes his mouth clean and faces Radford
"I know. But, you need the rest. You'll get better the sooner you rest," Radford says taking his boyfriend's shoulders.

"You can say that because you're not sick," Kevin grumbles. Radford chuckles lightheartedly.

"Let me take care of you today okay? You deserve a break anyway."
Kevin huffs and lets Radford lead him back to their room.

"Fine, Can we go back to bed then? It's early, and I'm grumpy," Kevin says. Radford smiles and helps Kevin crawl into bed.
"I can tell." He chuckled.

"I didn't get a lot of sleep thanks to my cough." Radford moves so that he's sitting beside Kevin.

"What are you doing?" Kevin asks, blinking as he looks over at Radford.
"Come here. We're going to cuddle." Radford says with a grin.

"Rad, you'll-"

"I'll be fine, I took care of my siblings a lot. I have an immunity to it." Radford explains gently tugging on Kevin's arm.

Kevin hesitates before crawling over to Radford. He climbs into his lap, and Kevin was miserable.

He wanted nothing more than to cuddle his boyfriend.

Eventually, Kevin complained that he was hungry. So Radford had to get up and make them both some food.

He covers Kevin with the blankets, and he makes his way out of the bedroom. Telling Kevin that he'll be back in a moment. Radford walks into the kitchen, debating on what to make his sick boyfriend.

Radford is surprised when Kevin comes out of their room. He looked terrible.

"Kev, what are you doing out of bed?" Radford asks, blocking him from leaving the hallway.

"I'm tired of being stuck in that bed," Kevin groaned. Radford sighs he lets Kevin pass and he plops down on the couch. He shoves his face into the couch.

"Fine but stay on the couch okay?" He wasn't asking and both of them knew that.
"How about you eat the tomato soup and the grilled cheese I made you?"

Kevin nods looking up at Radford. "Can I have some fries too?"

Radford chuckled "Yes you can, that'll take another minute though." Kevin shakes his head.

"That's fine."

"Want me to put something on?" Radford asks.
"Fuck yeah." Kevin smiles before he was thrown into a coughing fit. Radford frowns and walks over so he can rub Kevin's back until he was done.

"I hate this." He groaned. Radford kisses his forehead.
"It'll be over soon."

Radford grabs Kevin's tomato soup and grilled cheese, along with his much-needed fries. Radford didn't complain, his siblings never ate. He was really happy that Kevin ate when he was sick.

Radford made himself a grilled cheese too and stole some of Kevin's fries. Kevin hardly looked awake. Radford sets Kevin's food on their side table.

Kevin sits up but didn't look any more awake.

"Do you need more water?" Kevin looks down at his drink. He shakes his head and begins to eat. Kevin nearly cries in relief, the food helped ease the pain in his throat immediately.

Radford sat close to his boyfriend, he could feel Kevin's body heat which worried him. Though Kevin seemed relatively fine, just tired and hot. Maybe he should hang out in the shower for a bit.

Before Radford even realized Kevin was done, and was laying on his chest.

"Are you still hungry?" Kevin shakes his head with a yawn.

"Okay my sweet, take a nap then okay? It seems like you need it." Kevin only nods before nuzzling closer.

"Thank you." He whispered. Radford smiled and pecked the top of his head.

"You don't need to thank me, I love you, Kevin. I'll always take care of you."
