THE RAIN POURED HEAVILY, she laid at the brown couch, a blanket drape over her body as her cat slept on her chest whilst scrolling on her phone and gently patting her cat.

The sound of rain was a comfort to her, the weather was a bit cold, so it was the right temperature for her.

DING!

Her scrolling came to a halt as she saw a message from... Mikey? She doesn't exactly know why the racer would message her suddenly since they didn't message each other after four days but she decided to reply anyway out of kindness although she was kind of lazy to repky back.

MIKEY

MIKEY

[NAME]

MIKEY

[NAME]

it's raining and there's nothing
you can do about it

MIKEY
there's always a way!
what's your address?

[NAME]
why would you need my
address for?

MIKEY

address is.

[NAME]

(sends address)
I don't know what you need
it for but you better not rob
my house or some shit.
mikey liked the message!

MIKEY

weird... [name] decided to ignore mikey's odd behaviour and lifted up her cat to the end of the couch which caused her cat to meow and shift from his position.

[name] went to the kitchen and placed some cookies and pastries on the plate, she took a mug and made a hot chocolate.

Once she was done, she put her food at the table and went to her bookshelf, eyes skimming through the shelves, trying to find a book to read so she can entertain herself at the cold weather.

She took the book called 'Persuasion' by Jane Austen, one of the most well-known writers in the world of literature. It's a very short read so it's perfect to read it with the ambience and the weather.

[name] has a shelf full of classic literature books from Jane Austen to George Orwell to Oscar Wilde. She had read a lot of classics throughout her high school and college years.
