The air was tense in the movie theater, and I was just waiting for a jumpscare. The main character was looking around her house for a serial killer, and it was obvious that it would randomly appear behind her. I was holding my cold Pepsi with my right hand, and grabbing popcorn with my left.

Then a high trill sounded throughout the theater, and the serial killer appeared right behind her. I jumped so hard I was ashamed of myself, and Kenma looked over at me with a ridiculous look.

"Are you scared?" Kenma asked, whispering in my ear. He moved his hand to cover my left hand, a small smile playing on his face.

"A little." I snorted quietly, knowing that this was Kenma's movie choice. Another loud jump scare happened as soon as I turned my head to look at the screen again, causing me to jump again, this time being grounded by Kenma's hand on my own.

Suddenly, I couldn't feel anything but that.

I opened the door to my house, and Kenma walked in with me. We both immediately walked upstairs to my room, and closed my door. I sat on my bed, and he sat on the floor, observing his nails with a displeased look. I wanted to say something, but my words were caught in my throat.

"Hey so I have a question." I said cautiously.

"Yes?" Kenma looked up from his nails, our eyes meeting.

"What- are we? Like what is between us?" I asked, my face heating as I said so.

"What do you want us to be?" He asked me, standing up as he talked. He walked up to me, and placed his hands on either side of my legs.

"A lot of things." I chuckled, and lifted my hand to brush away a strand of his hair. The subtle bangs framing his face fell back in the way of his eyes, but I could still see his amber irises through the strands.

He smiled.

"Me too." In my mind, I just wanted a straight answer.

I pressed my lips to his, and the first thing I noticed was how soft his mouth was. He leaned in, accepting the kiss. I moved my other hand to cup his waist, and pulled him in more. Our lips parted for a split second, and he(chuckled seductively) laughed quietly before leaning in again. This time it was heavier, and I slowly leaned back onto the bed, Kenma still on the edge of the mattress. This was the moment. We were together, here. Toge-

"Hey Tetsuro I have some laundry" My mom said from the other side of the door.

"Ok just leave it outside my door." I said, Kenma holding in a laugh, his hair falling on either side of my face.

"That was good timing." He chuckled, and I sighed,

"Great." I smirked, and pecked him on the lips one more time before sitting up again.

"So I guess we are a lot of things." I heard Kenma say from in front of me.
