0-2: Group Project Team Up (Go-getter 1 & Spider 2)

Go-getter 1:

My name is Kunihiko Tagawa.

I have just recently entered high school alongside my childhood friend, Asaka Kushitani.

We came from the same neighbourhood, and have always attended the same schools together.

This time in particular, we even ended up in the same class.

Since we openly and casually greet each other, it didn't take long for everyone to suspect we are dating.

We aren't, we are just being polite to each other as old friends.

Though I do have this vague feeling that I will end up marrying her someday.

It just feels right to be with her.

I don't why, but it's like she understands me even better than I do myself.

She is a lot smarter than me, that's for sure.

Still, it's not like I know if she likes me like that too.

I know if I keep playing things cool, some other guy will probably come in and steal her away, then we will remain childhood friends forever.

Not that it's a bad thing, we don't have anything other than the fact that we're childhood friends to connect us anyway.

I mean, I don't even know what she is even interested in and vice versa.

Nor do we even chit chat with each other at all.

As for today, it's time for a group project.

The teacher is letting us pick and choose our group, 3 to 4 persons per group he said.

Everyone else is busy trying to sort out who they want to group up with, which is hard since most of the people here don't really know each other all that well just yet.

I am having trouble deciding who to approach too.

Looking around, my eyes meet Asaka's.

I am just about to look away when she smiles and shrugs at me.

I do the same and we team up.

Now we just need another one, or two.

Kusama: "Oh hey! You two finally taking things to the next step?"

Ugh, it's Kusama.

"For the last time, we aren't dating!"

I replied angrily.

He's carefree, energetic and outgoing...and the one who first asked if Asaka and I are dating, and constantly pestering us about it too.

Annoyingly nosy is what he is.

We have only known him for a short time and everyone already agrees he is the class clown.

Though I'm pretty sure that is what he wants, what a weirdo, who wants to be the butt of the joke anyway?

That said, he is also a helpful and reliable person as he often offers to help run errands for other people.

Natsume and Shinohara in particular take full advantage of his eagerness to help.

So despite how annoying he is when it comes to teasing me about my 'romantic life' with Asaka, I am sure he will be a worthwhile addition to our group.

I think Asaka feels the same way, since she didn't object to Kusama joining our group on his own accord.

Kusama looks at us cheekily, probably about to continue teasing us.
