2-7: Finally, Detection and Hiiro 2 (Spider 39)

Spider 39:

So [Taboo] raised up by 2 Levels even though I did nothing wrong.

Why am I being punished for literally everything? Nai wa...

Anyway, let's see what else I got.

[Heresy Nullification] means I am immune to Heresy damage, right?

Then that means [Detection] should no longer hurt me, right?

Moment of truth, [Detection] on!

Eh!? I can still feel a slight headache as a result of using my brain too much.

But most of the pain that used to come from Heresy damage is gone now.

More importantly, I can finally start processing all the information [Detection] is picking up without being distracted by pain.

Divine Voice: "Proficiency has reached the required level.

Skill [Arithmetic Proficiency LV8] has become [Arithmetic Proficiency LV9]."

[Heat Perception] lets me sense heat, like infrared goggles but all around me instead of being limited to my vision.

Divine Voice: "Proficiency has reached the required level.

Skill [Parallel Thinking LV7] has become [Parallel Thinking LV8]."

[Material Perception] lets me sense the makeup of the things near me, like their atomic structure, which is a lot to process.

Divine Voice: "Proficiency has reached the required level.

Skill [Detection LV7] has become [Detection LV8]."

[Motion Perception] lets me sense the motion of things, like the flow of air around me.

Divine Voice: "Proficiency has reached the required level.

Acquired Skill [Divinity Expansion LV1]."

And the last of the four Perception Skills that is in effect right now is [Mana Perception].

With it, I can finally feel the flow of Mana around me.

Mana is like a viscous liquid, like slime.

It's...overwhelmingly beautiful.

Everything is so clear now, like my clouded vision has been lifted and I can finally see the truth.

I think it's like being able to see the starry sky after never seeing it due to light pollution.

Not that I have ever experienced that myself even though I wanted to.

I bet I would be crying tears of joy right now if I could actually cry.

I end up basking in the glory of the grandeur of the world for a while longer.

So it expands my Divinity Field too, not that I have any idea how that helps.
