Spider 56:
Divine Voice: "Proficiency has reached the required level.
[Spatial Magic LV8] has become [Spatial Magic LV9]."
What Spell did we get this time?
Majikku 1: Well let's see...[Long Distance Teleport]!
Karada: Did we finally unlock fast travel?
Majikku 2: Yep! We can go anywhere we have been to before!
So it will work with Wisdom-sama's map then.
Majikku 3: But the further we want to teleport, the longer it takes for the Spell to cast.
Majikku 4: But we can speed things up by spending more MP.
Make sense, how about we give it a test run now?
Karada: But where to?
...Oh, I know! Let's go to where our first house was.
Majikku 2: Any reason in particular?
Remember that egg?
Majikku 4: Oh! You mean we are finally going to eat it?
Majikku 1: Assuming the hidden part of our hidden shaft worked as intended.
Well, only one way to find out.
So the Majikkus cast [Long Distance Teleport], which henceforth I will call Fast Travel because it sounds better.
In a blink, we arrived at our old home.
And a feeling of nostalgia washed over us as we do.
I remember how we used to dance about, play with a yoyo, roll around with balls of silks and much more here.
All we do these days is train, maybe we should take some time to play too every now and then again.
All the webs are gone, minus a few lucky unburnt patches.
Same goes for our belongings here, probably destroyed or taken.
We lost it all when the fire nation attacked.
At least, that is true for everything within normal sight.
One look with [Clairvoyance] shows that the hidden shaft in the ceiling is completely untouched.
Too bad the only thing we left there in the vault was the egg, so we only have that to recover from our raided base.
Speaking of, last time we appraised it, Wisdom-sama, once simply Appraisal-san, was only at LV2, so all we knew of it was the fact that it's an Earth Wyrm Egg.
We lifted the cover and entered the hidden shaft.
To think that we used to plan on digging straight up with pickaxes.
Given how strong we are now, we could probably eat our way up now.
Not that it is a good idea when we are most likely under the ocean.
We are not about to destroy the ecosystem here, not to mention we would need a way to survive drowning and the crushing pressure of having an ocean worth of water pouring down on us.
Actually, can we gain EP from eating dirt, rocks and the like?
If so, then we really don't have to worry about food for like, ever.
