Man, I haven't slept like this for a long time.

Might explain why I am still kind of tired.

No, wait. Why are all my hair tensed up?

I look around, then down and see an army of monkeys all looking in my direction.

Nani the heck!?

As I stand there dumbfounded by the sight, I take a small rock to the face.

Ouch!

How do they know I am here?!

I made sure my nest was unnoticeable from below before sleeping!

Did that scream have some sort of marking effect?!

I cautiously peek down below.

The monkeys have started to slowly climb their way up here.

Oh god, I can't deal with this! Nai wa!

I am outnumbered and outclassed!

I need to run!

I dash for the ceiling.

Eh!? Why is the different coloured surface here so slippery!?

I tried to use my thread stick to the new surface, but it didn't work!?

Sheet sheet sheet!

I just have to escape sideways!

But as soon as I leave my nest, I am at the mercy of a barrage of rocks thrown at me.

Ouch!

I have no choice but to retreat back into my nest.

I can't escape, oh god!

"No! I don't wanna die! Please! I beg you!"

But the monkeys don't care about my plea, continuing their way up here.

My only option is to fight my way out of this.

But that's impossible, isn't it?

Well, it's not like I have a choice.

Ha ha ha, time to finally die oh so painfully, I guess.

These guys are climbing up here to kill me.

If only I had something to drop on them.

Drop? [Poison Synthesis]!

I use the Skill to create balls of [Spider Venom] to drop on them.

Each hit is one monkey knocked down the wall.

I haven't missed once, probably thanks to [Throw] and [Hit].

I have used a lot of MP, I definitely don't have enough to take care of all of them, so it's probably best to switch things up.

I have the high ground and a home base.

I should turn it into a fortress.

I quickly get to work, adding webs everywhere I can, mainly the walls they are using to get to me.

Ouch!

The monkeys on the ground are throwing rocks at me to provide cover fire for the others climbing the wall.

Talk about having actual teamwork.

The monkeys closest to me got stuck to the wall as I had hoped, but I didn't expect other monkeys to use their trapped comrades as stepping stones to reach me.
