"Are you Shoyo?"
"Yes, sir!"
The orange-haired kid became a student at this place's only prestigious school.
Let alone he is wearing fake tabby cat ears, but no tail.
And yet no one even questions it.
The guards seem to only need an ID with the picture of the student and nothing else.
Maybe because they never thought for an outsider like him to be able to get inside the mountain.
The Academy was so big that he felt even smaller than before.
Some beings look the same age as he, but maybe he's just judging too far.
He takes a look at the paper that was given to him by ms. Kiyoko.
She was the one who paid for everything and just told him to study and learn some magic spells or even find the secret land of Shangri La.
Which made him interested as well.
"But isn't this mountain mysterious enough?"
Shoyo whispered to himself as he searched for his classroom.
After climbing the infinite stairs and asking for directions, he was finally able to find his classroom.
Good thing that the guards were kind enough to make him a small map for his destination.
They even gave him a map of the whole Academy as well.
He sighed in contentment as he breathed in the fresh air of the clouds that were surrounding the school.
It's such a magical place.
No human could ever imagine a place like this could even exist.
Shoyo was about to open the huge golden door in front of him when someone else from the other side opened it first.
The door made a huge bang sound as it opened.
Revealing a blond-haired tall male with cleanly kept black wings on his back.
He had glasses on which made his stern look even scarier.
Shoyo immediately gave the person some path as he stepped aside from the doorway.
He didn't look up to the person as he didn't want to get into any trouble on the first day of his school.
He doesn't want ms. Kiyoko got concerned about him.
The tall male stared at him for a solid 10 seconds before stepping out of the room and leaving him behind.
There was someone else following him as well.
A dark green-haired freckled boy was following behind the tall male.
He had beautiful black wings as well.
Shoyo looked at the two with envy as he didn't know anyone else in the school.
So guess he'll be all alone for this whole school year.
He peeked in his classroom to see where he could find an empty seat behind the class.
He did not want to get the attention of the professors of school by sitting in front of the class.
And there it is.
An empty seat just right beside a window.
How lucky.
He grabbed his confidence and gulped down his anxiety as he walked inside the room filled with different kinds of creatures.
He could feel his gut taking a backflip as he made eye contact with a student with dog ears and a fluffy tail as well.
But he just continued his way to the window and finally arrived.
He sighed away his distress as he put down his bag on his table.
What a day.
He thought as he looked outside their big ass window.
There was no need to use an air conditioner if your school is above the clouds.
Looking down at the students walking around the Academy was like a dream of his.
He has always wanted to go to school and learn.
And finally, his dream came true.
He closed his eyes to nap for a bit when he felt someone tapping on his right shoulder.
Shoyo woke up and stared at a tall male with black cat ears with a rooster head.
What?
Rooster-haired hairstyle?
He blinked for a few seconds to see if he was not imagining things.
"Excuse me little one, sorry for disturbing your nap but... Is someone sitting in this chair?"
The male said as he pointed to the empty chair beside him.
"No... There's no one sitting there..."
He answered as the black-haired man smiled and gestured to someone that was behind him all this time to take a seat on it.
A short male with bi-colored hair and black and yellow patterned cat ears and tail was quietly hiding behind him.
The short male silently sits down on the seat and puts down his things on his table.
"The names Kuroo and Kenma by the way, nice meeting you um..."
"Shoyo. My name is Shoyo, nice to meet you two as well..."
They both shook hands and greeted each other.
The tangerine was happy knowing that he finally made some friends.
He gave a warm smile at his shy classmate who was sitting beside him.
Kenma, his seatmate nodded and shyly looked away and stared at his phone as he began to play on it.
"I'm gonna go now. If anything happens to him please just call me, my room is just on the upper-level second room."
The tall male said as he points at his friend.
Shoyo nods in agreement as they both exchanged numbers and the male left the room waving them both goodbye.
The tangerine stared at his phone and smiled as he finally made himself a friend.
"You look so happy... Why?..."
Kenma finally talked as his yellow eyes met the orange ones.
He could only grin as he answered his friend.
"It's my first time here... And I made new friends... So that's why I'm so happy."
He said as he looked at his seatmate.
Kenma blushed a bit but he covered his face with his long hair.
He then made an action that made Shoyo stare at him, astonished.
"Have my number... As well..."
The tangerine's eyes sparked with joy as he looked at his friend.
He gladly gave him his number and saved his friend's number to his as well.
There are two people on his contact name list on his phone.
Amazing!
He then gave his friend a smile that could light up anyone else's mood.
"Nice to meet you, Kenma!"
"You too... As well... Shoyo..."
