Kuroo and Shoyo were now walking past the shops as they went down the busy streets.

The tangerine would initiate some conversations here and there to not make things awkward between them.

He would even ask the most ridiculous questions as he liked hearing the older male laugh at them as well.

"If your hair is a rooster? Why become a cat?"

The tangerine asked.

"Ask my parents... You know you just hurt my feelings right there ha..."

The two laughed as they strolled around now nearing a fountain in a park.

Kuroo saw the bench first and told the younger male to sit with him there.

Which the tangerine obeyed.

Looking at little children playing in the park, Shoyo couldn't help but smile dearly.

Amazingly, he creates this place out of nothing to something.

It would be nice to create a place where the people around here are safe if ever something bad happens...

Like, what will happen to him...

Kuroo noticed the tangerine's eyes change.

Sadness was in his eyes.

Not his usual shining ones.

"Ah... It's so nice to simply watch this moment with our eyes... Right, Chibi?"

Shoyo snapped out of his negative thoughts and smiled.

"Yeah..."

He answered.

Kuroo raised his eyebrows.

"You were filled with weird questions on our way here and now you are acting as if I was the one who asked, "Kuroo san because you are a cat do you like getting inside small boxes as well?" ha very funny chibi chan..."

Shoyo laughed as he remembers the question and the face his friend made when he asked that.

Kuroo was contemplating for a moment as well.

"And you were thinking about it as well! Hahaha!"

The black cat could only scoff as he crossed his arms to sulk jokingly.

Shoyo then spoke again.

"But it would be nice to live in this moment again..."

He said with a hint of sadness in his voice.

"Why are you saying those things as if you have lived a hundred years already?"

His cat friend chuckled as he is sure he should be the knowledgeable one as he is the older one.

"You're acting like my grandfather... He sure loved to talk about such things as life and momentarily happiness and sadness."

Shoyo looked at him. The black jet eyes looked right into his eyes.

"Be in the moment, Shoyo."

And with that Shoyo felt as if he had heard such words before. It was so familiar that it hurt.

Kuroo proceeds to take a familiar velvet box out of his pocket.

"I want to give this to you."

The tangerine looked at him confused.

"I have always wanted to give you a protection amulet since we met... I know I'm being weird but... I just felt that I had to..."

Ever since then I wanted to see you as well, Kuroo thought as he stared at the box in his hand.
