"I'm not crying?"

"You are! And I am as well!"

The two stared at each other as they saw themselves crying for no reason.

Well only for Kuroo.

As he only felt a wave of emotions crashing through his senses from the single touch he had in contact with the ginger.

He felt every emotion from love, pain, and suffering to letting go.

Such intense emotions made him suddenly cry.

"Why am I crying?"

He muttered as he wiped them off with his long sleeve.

The ginger on the other hand completely remembers each scene in that memory.

And that's why his heart was aching from it.

He looked at the male beside him and just couldn't help but feel like tearing up again.

Damn it.

He thought as he wiped his tears as well.

So I did love him.

The ginger thought.

Do I still love him now as well?

He asked himself, doubting that because it was a memory of the past.

And because the man right in front of his eyes is the same people but different at the same time.

He sighed.

"You're sighing? Do you hate the gift I've given to you? You can give it back if -"

"No!"

Shoyo shouted making the other flinch at the sudden loud voice.

"No... I love it... Kuroo san... I do love the gift... Thank you..."

He says as he embraced the gift close to his heart and looks at the man in his eyes.

Kuroo blushed suddenly as he got caught off guard by the sudden action that the ginger made.

His tail and ears perked up as the heat rose on his face.

He then laughs loudly scaring some children near them and mothers looking at him weirdly.

Shoyo got surprised and confused about why the sudden laugh.

Kuroo suddenly stood up from their seat and began stretching his arms and legs out.

"Ah... Look at the time... Oh? It's almost for dinner now... Well, guess we have to leave now chibi chan... And walk in our separate ways... Haha!"

The man said as he starts to walk away but he got stopped by a tug on the shirt on his back.

He looked behind and saw an adorable sight which made him blush even more.

Shoyo grabbed the hem of his shirt and looked into his eyes as he gave the man a huge smile on his face as he said those three words which made his sanity burst sky-high.

"I cherish you."

Kuroo felt his world turn a sudden 360 as he hallucinated flowers around the ginger and hearts around him as well.

The wives and children who saw the adorable scene couldn't help but squeal in delight as they loved the mutual feeling between the two.

"Aw~ just get together you two~"

A mother said as the rest of the women agrees.

'What - what's going on?! Chibi!' 😳

His brain was malfunctioning as he tried to progress the situation.

From crying. Now, this?!

And he thought he was a guy with confidence but look at him faltering in front of the ginger.

"Chibi - I -"

But before he could say anything else a voice called out for the ginger.

"Shoyo! I was looking for you everywhere!"

A black-haired woman with two black tails was running toward them as she took a look at the tangerine.

"Are you hurt anywhere? I went out to buy some herbs and when I came back to the library you were gone! I asked the librarian to ask where you've gone and she said you were taking a walk with someone! And now here you are! My gosh... You've given me heart attacks for a lifetime... And in a single day at that..."

She says tiredly as she was exhausted from running and asking around about an orange-haired kid walking around.

"So what are you going to say to me, young man."

She says as she looks into his eyes.

The ginger lets go of the shirt and immediately apologizes to the woman.

Kuroo was frozen in place as he was confused about what was happening.

And who is this woman?

And why is he apologizing?

Is it his older sister?

"Okay, okay. That's enough... I forgive you but next time don't disappear without telling me where you're going. Okay?"

Kiyoko says in a stern voice as she pats his head.

Shoyo nods and stands up.

"Let's go back now... I haven't cooked our dinner yet... And I'm famished -"

Her eyes then stared at another black cat.

Her eyes looked at the young tall male and looked back at the tangerine.

"Oh. He's Kuroo san, a Junior in Academia. He's one of my friends I have told you about."

The ginger introduces his friend to her as he smiles innocently.

Friend.

A friend.

Just a friend.

Kuroo was fading into the realm of the dead as the words ring in his ears like an alarm.

Kiyoko noticed the male's intention immediately as she chuckled and patted his shoulder.

"Nice to meet you, Kuroo. And good luck."

She says before walking away as the ginger who was following behind her was confused why she said that.

The two went off on their way, leaving behind a broken man.

A mother and her child suddenly approached Kuroo as she patted his back.

"Don't worry boy... You will receive his love back. And that's for sure!"

The stranger said as she smiled at the boy who only looked at her confused.

Someone was tugging his pants and so he looked down and saw a little girl giving him a red flower.

He accepts the flower as the little girl giggles in delight.

"I hope you two become lovers, oni-san!"

Kuroo blushes again.

He covers his face in embarrassment as he squats down.

The mother was laughing as her daughter played with the boy's tail as it was wagging around.
