Shoyo felt nothing but madness as he saw the guards trembling and speechless in front of him.
People around them began to scurry away as they didn't want to be asked by the temple what happened at the scene.
Or all of their heads will be cut off.
"Better run or you'll end up simply like him..."
The ginger warned as he threw the unconscious guard to his friends.
The two guards took away their friend and left the place as they didn't want to go home with bruises and broken bones.
Kiyoko looked at him with confusion as she didn't recognize him from his covered face.
The tangerine looked back at her and helped her to get up as he then helped her to pile all the items that weren't broken yet.
He didn't say a word as he arranged the items back to their place.
Without saying goodbye, he left the store without turning back.
Kiyoko was left speechless as she tried to recognize the retrieving back of the student walking away from her.
"He seems... Familiar?... I wasn't able to say my thanks to him... Maybe Shoyo knows him..."
What she didn't know was a piece of paper waiting at her table.
A letter from the tangerine saying how grateful and sorry he was for getting her store ruined because of what happened to him at the temple while he was away.
All that was left was for her to read it and accept the fact that he might not be coming back for a while.
"Man... Where should I live now?"
The ginger mumbled to himself as he walked aimlessly through the streets.
He removes the cardigan from his face as he wanted to breathe comfortably.
Watching the familiar faces of merchants looking at him with disgust and judging eyes as they close their doors preventing him from stepping inside if he ever tries to.
The tangerine could only laugh at himself as if he'll ever step inside those heartless people.
They all watched as Ms. Kiyoko got harassed by those guards.
He sighs as he sees an empty bench in front of a manmade flower field.
The moon shined the blossomed flowers as they were sprinkled with water by a worker.
Sitting and just watching made him feel lonely.
He's just like the worker.
And those flowers were his people.
Even hating his job as a worker to keep all those flowers blossoming beautifully, he can't run away as it was his destined job in the first place to nourish them.
A parasite will always be there to eat away the petals making those flowers die.
But not unless he removes them and saves the flowers from dying.
And yet the parasite is needed for nature to renew its cycle.
He sighs as he rubs his face in irritation as looked down at his shoes disappointingly.
"Shoyo?"
A low and calm voice called out his name out of nowhere.
The ginger looked behind only to see the sophomore ferret.
