Lunch was over when the huge bell of the Academia rang one time, enough for every person to know that recess is over.

"Man... That was a great meal!"

Lev exclaimed as he slumped back on his seat and rubbed his now full stomach.

The others agreed as they began to clear the table and take away their dirty plates back to the designated washing area where the workers clean the used plates of the students.

Bokuto and Kuroo waved goodbye to them as they needed to head back to their class as they were told they were having a meeting with their professor in Science for a project.

The tangerine was disappointed that the fun ended too early as he had fun chatting with them.

Bokuto did not forget to give his phone number to the tangerine as he named himself on his phone as "Favorite Teacher!"

Yaku also gave his number and just named himself "Yaku 😺" on the tangerine's phone.

And he went with them as he was also in the same class as those two.

"Shoyo! Let's go together we're classmates anyway." Lev said.

He looked at the shorter male with a smile. Shoyo glanced at his cat friend.

"You can join us Kenma."

"Oh, I can't," Kenma said sadly.

"Why?" Shoyo asked.

"Because I'm a Sophomore, like Akaashi san."

Shoyo was surprised as he got confused about why he was in his class. then?

"I got asked by our Feline professor to look out for new feline students in the Freshmen year... So yeah..."

The tangerine then nods as he understood his reason.

Kenma then reassures his friend by holding his hand softly.

"Call me if you feel bored..."

He smiled. Shoyo was happy as he nodded at his friend.

"Here is my number, Shoyo."

Akaashi stated as he handed out a piece of paper with his number on it.

"You can call me anytime as well."

The sunshine smiled brightly as he accepted the paper and immediately saved it on his phone so that he wouldn't forget it.

Lev began to feel left out as he playfully put his arm on the short male's shoulders.

"Shoyo! Let's go or we'll be late for the class."

Kenma got mad but Akaashi was able to control him by dragging him away immediately as they waved goodbye to the two freshmen.

Shoyo waved goodbye and left the cafeteria with the male lion.

"Shoyo... I noticed something..."

"yeah?"

"Do you know anything about the mystery of the Red Camellia flowers here in Academia?"

The tall male asked as he glanced down at his friend whose face was seriously thinking about it.

"No? I've never heard of that before. Is it known here?"

Lev was surprised that his friend doesn't know about that one famous story here in Academia.

Even anyone outside knows about the story as well.

"Man! Do you live in a cave or something?"

He gasped as he leans closer to the tangerine to tell the famous tale of the Camellia flowers.

"On the 14th day of February, a man professed his pure love to a beautiful lady who's going to be wedded to a man she doesn't know nor love. He gathered his courage to confess as they'd known each other since birth. He has always loved her since then... And so he knelt on the ground in a field of such vibrant red flowers around them and said..."

Lev then made a big movement as if he was the man professing love for the said woman in his story.

He was so dramatic that students were surprised to see the tall dude acting like a theater actor in a hallway filled with other people walking on it.

Shoyo was so embarrassed that he had to act like he didn't know him at all.

But he still waited for him to finish as he was curious about what happened next.

"I love you... My heart has always been infatuated with how beautifully your hair flows with the wind and your eyes shone brightly under the moon's blue light... This love of mine is not fleeting as I have loved you since the beginning of our lives... Do you? Feel the same?"

Lev spoke softly at the end as he then opened his eyes slowly meeting the sunshine's eyes with his.

His heart banged inside as he realized what he was doing.

He composed himself immediately as he stood straight and covers his face with his right hand making sure the tangerine doesn't notice his blushing face.

"And then what did the lady say?"

Shoyo asked curiously as the story hasn't ended yet.

The white tail behind Lev was wagging slightly as he can't control his blushing mess.

He sighed and walked quickly toward their class. The tangerine followed behind like a cute puppy as he never got an answer back from the male.

"Lev? Why are you walking so quickly? And you haven't finished the story -"

"He died."

"What?!"

"He died because the lady did not love him the way he loved her."

"Suicide?"

"No. A disease killed him."

Shoyo was now confused as he did not think that it would turn dark so suddenly.

And so he asked his friend again who was not looking at him and still covering his face somehow.

"What kind of disease?"

"Hanahaki."

"Hana what?"

"Hanahaki disease... It's when your lungs start to build up flowers inside making you cough or choke on its petals as you try to cough it out...  But... It gets worse as it will start to cover your whole lungs inside with it... Getting you killed in the process..."

The tall male responds as he sighs and finally makes eye contact with the short male.

Shoyo stared back at him with a sad expression.

"How did he get it though? It's not his fault that he loves her so much? And why does he have to die because of unrequited love?"

His puppy eyes looked up at the silver ones as if begging for an answer.

Lev's heart is tugged as he can't keep up with the cuteness anymore.

"Because his love wasn't reciprocated back... That's why..."

"That's just... Unreasonable..."

He sighed and patted the back of his friend to comfort him from his disappointment and sadness.

"That's how God loves to see such suffering from us... I guess they just love the drama..."

"God made the disease?"

"I'm not sure... But rest assured. Not a single person had a disease like that, I promise you."

Lev smiled as the tangerine smiled back at him making his heart squeal again.

But internally he was a blushing mess.

But his tail says otherwise as it was wagging behind him like a good boy.
